We are finally having our coldest weather so far in SC. Absolutely love my coat as it keeps me snug and cozy. Especially love the hood to keep my head from freezing.

Great coat. It's just warm enough to wear on days that's not very cold.

We gave this coat as a gift to my daughter who had it on her wishlist. She loves it. I decided to buy one for myself in one of the sale colors and I was disappointed. It is not soft. I felt like I was wearing a garment made of broadloom carpet so I returned mine. I gave it 5 stars based on my daughter's opinion, not my own.

I REALLY like this coat. It is perfect when the weather first turns crisp. It's long enough to keep your torso covered without being a hindrance. It keeps you dry too. I've worn it dog walking and then the rain started. Yes, the fleece was wet, but I wasn't! A suggestion for future variations of this coat would be to include an internal pocket that L.L. Bean is famous for! You can never have too many pockets!

I bought this in the green. I get lots of compliments because it's a very unusual color. I wore it on a windy day with only a long sleeve Tee and it did a good job at cutting the wind. Better than l expected.

Best coat purchase I've ever made! I get so many compliments on it and everyone wants to know where I got it. I get cold and usually have to wear layers under my coats, not the case with this coat because it's super warm! I love that the pockets are big and they have zippers. It's long enough to wear with leggings and covers the rear. If you need a coat for fall and winter, get this one!

I got the Petite X-Large and it is perfect in every way (sleeves, chest, length, etc.)!!! I'm very impressed and it is exactly what I was hoping for!!

Best purchase I ever made. I ordered petite medium because I like to wear sweaters in winter and it still has some room left. I'm 5'2" 125 pounds.

Absolutely love this coat, have worn it almost daily since I received it (when the weather has allowed) it is warm but light at the same time. It is great this fall, and I know I will love wearing it this winter running in and out of places, will keep me warm but not overheated.

I felt the need to come back and leave a review after debating this purchase for over a year. I came close to buying this coat last year, but ultimately didn't because it has a lot of negative reviews. I'll start by saying this coat should be advertised as a sherpa coat. It is not fleece. It is not soft like a lamb etc, it is sherpa. This was exactly what I expected, but a lot of the bad reviews seem to have expected something super soft. This isn't it. Next, I had no issues with the interior liner of this coat. It's not scratchy or stiff at all, it looks and feels exactly like it does in the model photo of the coat. Finally, sizing on this coat is tricky. There's quite a jump between a medium and a large. I'm 5'6", 165, more athletic build, large but and boobs. I initially purchased a large, which was too big. It was boxy and big/baggy and just unflattering in a large. I exchanged it for a medium, which fit more snugly but looked SO MUCH BETTER. Overall this seems to be a decent coat for the price. This won't keep you warm in Minot North Dakota in -40F weather, but if you're looking for a somewhat warm coat to put on over a long sleeve to walk the dog around in the winter, go for it. Cute coat overall as well.

I live in Montana. This is by no means my deep winter jacket but for the off season it's perfect. I got the blue and orange color which I love and get a lot of compliments when I wear it. It is a bit heavy and stiff but it repels water and snow. The quality is actually quite good and the zipper solid. My only issue is that when I bought it I sized up. It was a little big but I was ok with it. I've since lost 30 lbs and I'm now swimming in it. I've been waiting for LL Bean to restock the color so I can buy a smaller size but of course they don't restock anything good anymore. Disappointed.

This is a cozy well built coat. It does seem a bit stiff at first out of the bag (it looses up after a couple of wears) but I like that it's not floppy. It served me well on a trip to Yosemite where it is cool mornings & evenings but I didn't want to take a winter coat. Zipper pockets are great & I appreciate it's a loose comfortable fit with the back slightly longer that the front. I also love the color.

I read past reviews about this coat and respectfully disagree. There is nothing I dislike about it. I wore it for the first time this week in the mountains of WNC where it was breezy and 30 degrees with an inch and a half of early season snow. It was very warm and toasty. I love the look, feel and comfort. I am 4' 11 1/2" tall 100 pounds and ordered a Petite XS. It fits perfectly.

Love the longer length and material. Purchased a Small which I normally wear in LLBEAN. A little larger in the sleeves but would have been too small in X-Small.

I read the reviews and wasn't sure about the fit, but I went ahead and purchased this in the brown and LOVE it! My typical size is a small (5'6" 123 lbs.), but they were sold out in the small, so I went with the extra small and it fit great. I like that it doesn't look bulky, and that it covers my rear. To note, I have a smaller upper body, so if you are heavier on top you might find it snug. Perfect for me!
