This looks deceptively warm but the wind goes right through it. The fabric on the inside is knot very comfortable either. I don't recommend jt if you're looking for a warm, cozy fall coat.

Loved the cozy look of this jacket! I'd expected this piece to have a bit of give to the fabric, but found it rather stiff with no give. Wasn't comfortable when I bent my arms as I worked when driving. Sadly, returned it.

Didn't care for the coat, as the color wasn't mauve but more of a purple. Like the other reviewers stated, the lining was too stiff. It also looked a bit long on my mom who's 5'3". We had to return it. However, I have ordered other things from Land's End that were fine. This just wasn't.

I love the design of this fleece: the color,the length is great as is the depth of the pockets. Well sewn as is most LL Bean merchandise. However, it has a major sticking point for me. The fleece itself has a backing of really heavy almost neoprene lining that is directly attached to the fleece. It is extremely heavy and cumbersome to wear is not warm and cozy which was what I was expecting Also, it is not their usual sizing. I am normally small to medium and this runs snug . I am so disappointed in this and will be returning it

I have the Women's Bean's Sherpa Fleece Coat, which i LOVE. I thought this coat was the same except it has a hood. It's not. The lining is stiff and uncomfortable. Very disappointed.

The coat was too stiff. It stood away from my body. The lining was uncomfortable as well. For the money, I expected better. I returned it.

This coat is NOT good for any windy day even light wind. You should NEVER wear this when it is a windy day. Every possible wind comes to your entire body. That is how you will feel. It is very stiff and not soft at all. That is okay. The coat is cute but you look sometimes funny because of textile (too stiff).

Loved the color and quality of this jacket. Unfortunately, the proportions are way off. The top half fit but the bottom half was way too big and ballooned way out. Not what I expected from the pictures. I am 5'4", 116 lbs ordered size XS. I have never had this problem with other jackets.

I bought this about a month ago. I was excited to wear it for Christmas but it was small. It wouldn't meet in my bust.area. It was pretty but I wish the lining was better.

Cute fuzzy jacket - the green is a nice color! Unfortunately the lining is that sponge type of insulator that is nonbreathable and claustrophobic. Back it went.

The fit was awful. So disappointed. Last years reviews were bad but this years were better. Sizing too small. Hopefully next year you'll get it right. I love the look. It was sent back.

Looks like great coat, looked very similar to my old ll bean coat. Ordered same size but fit very oddly. Sleeves extremely tight, with only cotton top on could not comfortably bend arms & could literally not close. I'm same size & still wearing my old coat

Lining bulky and not plush. Style didn't look good on me. Returned.

I usually do not write reviews unless I really like something or I was really disappointed. In this case I am very disappointed. This coat is not warm at all, unless you are outside in the 60's+ and in the sun! I wore this outside in Florida, temps in the 50's, with a little breeze and I was cold. The breeze went right through the fabric like it wasn't even there. Would not buy this again. This is an expensive jacket that will be going in my Goodwill box, with a little note attached. This jacket also runs small.

I wish I had taken note of reviews that described the inside of the coat as feeling very stiff. For me, it felt very uncomfortable, especially in the sleeves. The outer side is not a super soft fleece as described in other reviews. This would have been okay if the inside felt more soft and cozy. I returned this coat. Note that I purchased Petite size medium and it was a good fit.

I disliked the longish, curly pile on the outside; I expected a sheared pile. The coat is smoothish on the inside but is not actually lined with a smooth fabric. The shoulders are narrow while the sleeves are long. I returned it at the local LLBean store, which was an easy process. Although I've been a customer of LLBean for 40 years, I've been quite disappointed in my recent purchases due to poor fabric and fit, yet premium prices. I am unlikely to make further purchases of clothing from LLBean.

Scratchy cheap outer material. Was very flattering fit so disappointed in having to return.

not sure i understand the high price point. this does not feel like fleece. the outside is a rough, cheap sherpa and the inside is polyester that is not soft. not sure if it is as warm as advertised because it is still fall.

I had high hopes for this. Ordered it for my birthday. The lining is an indescribable stiff fabric. The outer part of coat wasn't soft like I had hoped. Only redeeming factor was it was my favorite green color. Very disappointed. Will be returning!

The quality is ok but the coat is not worth $150. Feels cheap. Nowhere near as comfortable as portrayed. Was disappointed and sent back

Depending on the style, I've always with a size XS or Small in Bean's coats, jackets, and fleeces. I ordered this jacket in XS and Small, and both just fit straight-up weird. Plus, the fleece is crunchy-like, and the lining is like a thin t-shirt material. Looks a lot better in photos than in person.

Lining is very stiff, makes the jacket much less soft than it looks. Decided to return.

The aqua color was faded looking and it ran small for a small.

I returned this. It is made well. Lining is sturdy. The outside is not soft and the color is too light.

Love the look and feel of the coat but after 1 wash the zipper broke!
