Sherpa and Teddy jackets are trending, however I searched all over the internet to find a coat that is long enough to CYA, has a hood, and a zipper. One would think these characteristics are a no-brainer... but I only came across 2 coats total, this one and a competitor's brand. The competitor's brand didn't have a nice cut though. It runs indeed a bit large (I normally wear an XS, however the XXS was big enough) and arm movement is a little bit constricted, but not too bothersome. Love the female, formfitting cut, the length (CYA and keeps it warm :-)), the hood and the large front pockets.

I bought this jacket for my daughter for her birthday. Of course she sent me the link, so she knew what she wanted! She loves it! She wants me to buy one for myself.

I got the gray in XS, I am 5'5" and 115 pounds and it fit perfect. I wore it outside on a chilly, windy day to test it out (about 47 degrees out). It kept me warm and it really does block most of the wind. Some people have said that the inner layer is stiff, but I don't find it stiff. It does have to be a bit more thick, because that is the wind-blocking properties that keep you warm. The entire jacket is lined, and I had no problems moving my arms. For the wind block and warmth you get, its is worth an extra tug on the sleeve to remove the jacket (you will appreciate the sturdiness of it when outside!). The longer length is great, I love it for cold car seats and subway seats! I can wash this jacket as much as I want (which is important due to covid and riding NYC subways). The hood fits really well, it is not one of those oversized floppy hoods. No inner pockets, but it has 2 big deep zipper pockets in the front, you can easily fit a big phone in it. I love it so much, I may buy the shorter hooded jacket in navy/orange!

This coat is my new favorite thing! The longer length and tailored waist creates a perfect balance between cozy and stylish. The hood is wide, the pockets are deep and the lining is a thick material that really insulates your body in chilly temps. The only catch for me was the sizing. I'm a medium in pretty much every brand and I had to size down to a small - which is ideal.

Such a great coat! I receive many compliments. It wears well with leggings and boots (I like it b/c it is long enough to cover my butt - I am not sure if I can write that / but it does:) and it is warm with a nice hood!

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. She hasn't been able to wear it yet, but she'll be warm and cozy this winter.

I love this jacket - it is warm!!! I have never worn a x-large but the large was tight in my "rear". I opted for the x-large for more room for heavy sweaters, etc. The sleeves are a little long but nothing I can't live with. Have received numerous compliments!

I love this jacket. I am a teacher and walk to school daily in Upstate New York. This provides me the warmth I am looking for on brisk morning while providing me with comfort and a stylish look. Well done LL Bean.

Great comfy jacket, fit true to size. Glad I did not size up to accommodate sweaters, etc. I think I will love it for fall or over a warmer top this winter.

This coat is beautiful! I purchased the navy and now want the other colors! It is soft comfy and really well made and looks great. I highly recommend! Perfect for the fall.

Surprised by the mixed reviews for this coat -- I love it! I hover between a M and L in most women's clothing and ordered a M in this, and it's perfect. High quality with a great hood. The sleeves are on the longer side, which I absolutely prefer. I got the natural color, and while I might have preferred black lining instead of navy, I am very happy with it.

So comfortable and cozy! I usually wear a medium and it maybe runs a bit bigger than usual - but I'm happy w the sizing because it's comfy and easy to layer over sweaters, etc.

Love this jacket! My only wishthe fleece was also on the inside or that it was reversible. I want to snuggle too!

I love this coat!!! I had first purchased a large but it was too big so a medium was a perfect fit. This coat is extremely warm even on a cold, windy day. No cold winds penetrate it. I love the perfect fit it gives. If you are looking for warmth without bulk, I highly recommend this coat!!!!

I can not wait until fall! This coat is perfect; lightweight, warm, and versatile. Very nice casual coat without looking boxy. Strongly considering buying it in blue!

I just received this jacket. It is super cute. It fits very comfortably, with room to move and my arms do not feel constricted which is a plus. It's still hot where I am so I can't testify for the warmth, BUT it feels as though it will be perfect for fall weather. I'm 5'0 and 134 and the small fits well.

The jacket is adorable. The fit was almost perfect but the arms were too long on me and the shoulders are a little big. I am not sure why anyone would say it runs small? It for sure runs true to size or a little big.

The cuts & seam lines are extremely figure enchanting. I loved this coat. It's warm with thick lining. I'm short with thick built. Because of this I looked chunky in this coat. I was very sad to return it. I feel this coat would have looked better on a different body built. Wished I could have tried it on before purchasing. I still recommend this coat.

I returned my normal size (large) for an XL because the large was too small, especially in the arms and shoulders. But the XL fits great. So cozy-I feel like I'm wearing a teddy bear. I love the styling and the great big pockets. Very comforting in these days of uncertainty. Thank you LL Bean for your wonderful products and service!

I am getting a lot of compliments on this coat! The inside is like a sweatshirt. Zipper works great and does not get stuck. The coat is very comfortable. Love it!

This coat is JUST PERFECT for warmth with style!!! It is fitted to the body and not bulky. It is extremely warm and doesn't allow the cold wind to penetrate at all.The big pockets are great and the double zipper is perfect for driving. I ordered it in Alloy Grey which goes with everything. It's nice to have a coat that keeps you warm with so much attention to fit.
