I love this for a comfortable, fall coat. I am 5'11" and 165lbs. The large was too spacious, but the medium fits perfectly.

This jacket is so cozy and soft. The seam at the waist is flattering. My favorite jacket!

I have short arms and small shoulders and a bigger middle. I read a review from someone who said the arms and shoulders were too tight and it was too big in the middle. It did work for them but it is wonderful for me. The way it is made is very flattering and I don't look dumpy. I plan on wearing it for my walks as the weather gets cooler and can probably wear it most of the winter where I live. I'm considering buying a second one in a different color. I could have worn the petite large instead, but I also have extra room if I want to layer other things under it this winter.

The styling of this coat is exceptional, especially for a fleece---girly, girly. It seems to be the trend nowadays for a lot of women to call just about every piece of new women's clothing "boxy" (yawn, yawn). I don't think anyone could legitimately call THIS coat boxy. Anyway, one of the first things that I saw was that it's made in Jordan. I've noticed over several years that clothing made in Jordan runs true-to-size, albeit slightly more fitted. (Example: A small is more a size 4-6 than a size 6-8.) This coat is no exception. I'll be able to wear a lighter-weight shirt or sweater under it, but probably nothing heavier. Finally, I thought that the polyester lining would more closely resemble taffeta, but it doesn't. Surprisingly, the lining feels somewhat rubberized, but maybe that's where the wind-resistance comes into play---not a deal breaker.

Really like this jacket. Warm and cozy. Good for long periods of inactive time outdoors at night in temperatures around 50 degrees with wind. Fits well over a sweater. Good coverage. Nice styling, looks good.

I could have worn a Med but wanted it large so I could wear a fleece under it because I live in the northeast and wanted it to wear all winter., I got the natural color, I wanted the Navy but it was not in stock. The only thing I would not like about Navy is I do not like an orange lining. I wear a lot of pink which includes pink scarves and orange is a drawback for me. I would prefer not to have the natural color but other than that I love this jacket. It's nice and long which I like and very cozy and warm.

I love this jacket so so much. I ordered it in navy and may also buy the cream... the length is great over leggings and helps to keep you warm. It is incredibly cozy and not too bulky. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

I recently purchased this jacket for walking. I needed a jacket that was in between my winter jacket and a sweatshirt. I wore it today when I toke my walk. It was wind proof, toasty warm and so soft. Now I wish the cooler weather would stay for awhile so I can wear this jacket again! Keep making this jacket! Did I forget to mention, the jacket also has a beautiful shape to it that will flatter your shape. Totally in love with this jacket! Thank you LLBean!!

I initially ordered a small & exchanged for x-s. I usually wear x-s in sweaters / sweatshirts, so for layering I thought small. But it was too wide, making it look almost dowdy. I figured I'd give the x-s a try, as the coat itself is SO well made and I love the style. Mission accomplished - can still later over a sweater or thicker sweatshirt and it fits well without being too small/tight. Great details - seaming on the front under the bust is flattering. Angles of the pocket & scalloped hem are also flattering to the lower half. The lining is exceptional for blocking wind - I have run into items like this with the plush outside just for show. Not this one! So consider ordering your normal sweater size & you'll enjoy!

I ordered large but it was a little to snug so reordered XL in the beige. Prefect! This jacket does run "slim fit"

I have been buying from LLBean for over 40 years and this has to be my all time favorite apparel! It is unlined but wind repellent and covers my butt which I love!

I'm a very curvy woman all the way around. I bought it in an xl and it fits perfectly. I can't wear any bulk layers underneath as it would start to feel tight. In a cold CT winter, all I've needed was a hoodie and this jacket and I was perfectly fine and shielded from the bite. So many compliments!

I love this coat. I use it walking outside and it keeps me warm. It has great pockets and it washes well. I am purchasing another color I love it so much. The complements I receive are unbelievable. Thank you llbean for such a great coat.

So comfortable, flattering and warm! Fits perfectly. There is enough room where I can wear something bulky under it and it's still flattering but not to much that it looks to big with some light underneath.

I had wanted a longer fleece and had not ever tried LL Bean's fleece. It is not a lightweight fleece. It is amazing and warm. I live in Montana and wear it a lot even in the winter. It does run a tough large. I generally wear a medium but the small fits great even with a sweater under it.

Perfect fit, just like the photo! Warm! Not as good in wind, but I love it! Got it in the white, and it is my "go-to" jacket!!!

I love this , bought a little larger so I can wear it over a sweater in the winter. Great color and very comfortable and warm.

Fits true to size, very warm, and totally snuggly. I love the longer length for modesty with leggings, and the pockets are HUGE, which is a bonus - perfect for walking the dog or going out when you don't want to bother with a purse. I just wore this with a winter hat in temps in the mid-30s to pick out a Christmas tree, and was totally comfortable. The pop of color on the navy is adorable. A winner.

This jacket is so good. Warm, comfortable, nice long sleeves. The fleece is very soft and comfortable. I honestly don't know what some of the reviews are talking about. It's a great coat, I highly recommend!!!
