Great quality, extremely warm and flattering. All that I need here residing in Big Snow Country! One suggestion, work on the zipper - it catches a bit. More interior pockets too!

The problem I am having is the zipper. It is difficult to pull up. So I have to button it. Sometimes that is hard to do when you have arthritis in your hands.

I am quite pleased with this coat. I would give it 90% out of 100. The style is very nice and it is definitely warm (great for upstate NY in winter). I really like the inside lining as it makes it easy to slip the coat on. I have two issues with this coat...both probably minor. The first problem is the hood. It is very deep and will fit well over a ski cap. The problem is the hood withOUT a hat under it. It is just too deep and falls forward blocking some of my view.. I fixed this by removing the hood until I really need it. The other problem is the zipper. It is a very heavy zipper and will last forever. However, this is both good and bad. The weight of the zipper makes it stiff and somewhat hard to get started. Plus, it zips from the left side, which is very awkward for me to operate, being right handed. I would assume left handed people love it! As I stated earlier, I still give this coat a 90 out of 100 favorable rating.

This is one of my favorite winter coats I've ever owned, it keeps me warm in all weather and is the perfect length. But the shallow pockets are so annoying, they can barely fit my gloves, let alone a phone/keys/mask, etc.

Fits true to size, very warm and comfortable. I gave it 4 stars because when I first got it, my fingers smelled like metal every time I would zip it up. That smell has now faded.

I'm 5'6", 144 pounds and usually wear a small/medium in clothing, I purchased a medium because the small was too tight for layering sweatshirts and heavy sweaters. I love the blue color and weight of the jacket. I like that the hood detaches. My only issue is with the pockets, they are very shallow - it's difficult to put your hands in and doesn't hold a smartphone. Very strange design for the modern era. Because the pockets have a perpendicular to the bottom hem opening, very impractical. Sharing because while I like and plan on keeping the jacket, the pockets have already been a problem when I tried to stash my keys in them while grocery shopping.

I was surprised to find an inside zipper pocket within the pockets; this was a plus. However, the outer pocket was too small to hide my hands from the cold.

Not the quality of years past, but not bad. I miss the quality of a few years ago when all LL Bean products were made in the US and all were warm with working zippers and were made to last. This is replacing my down coat that is over 18 years old and the zipper is just dead. (The new version has reviews that discuss zipper problems and that is it not warm!)

I really like this coat. It's warm and the green is a great neutral color. I wear it for my daily 2-3 mile winter walks and I'm never cold. The only disappointment is the pockets. They are so feeble. They're set on an angle and anything put in there will fall out, especially a phone, AirPod case or keys. Would be much more useful if angled deeper and fleece lined.

I took away one star only because I feel it should have knitted cuffs inside the sleeves. Too much cold air goes into the sleeves. I've had this coat for a year now. I love the overall length. Keeps my thighs warm going up a long breezy hill at work from parking to building. Enough room around the collar to use a scarf without being choked when zipped all the way. Still need to layer up underneath on 20 degree days or less. Still like new. I'll see how it holds up to another year.

The fit is great, but definitely size down 1 because it is very roomy for anything you might want to wear underneath. The only downside to it are the pockets. They are not roomy and don't go too deep. You try putting anything in there and as soon as you start moving it will fall out. Other then that, it's a great and extremely warm jacket.

The coat is very nice. However, I used the sizing guide to fit it to my wife and it fits good as long as she doesn't wear a bulky sweater or fleece jacket under it. (Sometimes it is necessary in the cold north.) She gets cold easily and so she often wears the extra layer to make sure she is keeping warm. Buyers should consider this when purchasing.

This is a pretty coat with a flattering fit, but it doesn't keep me warm below freezing unless I'm wearing seriously warm clothes underneath. And the slightest wind cuts right through it. Probably best suited for people who will rarely be out in sub-freezing temps.

Coat is warm so far, ample pockets, however zipper is awful, a lot of playing around with it to get fully unzipped, not a deal breaker but a pain. Gets stuck midway up also. Purchased 2 of same coat, both had zipper sticking issues. Have a very old two way zipper Bean coat from 2010, worn and washed constantly, NO zipper issues.

I love this coat-very warm and comfortable. I would have given it 5 Stars if the pockets had been deeper.

Overall, a well made jacket. Would have liked 2-3 " shorter but that's just me. Took one star off as sleeves could be a bit roomier for layering and also due to warmth. You should have left the down alone! Downtek? Who would go out in the rain with this? The loft is affected, therefore the warmth. Only gave 4 stars instead of 3 is due to it is well made.

Super warm, flattering coat. Wish that the pockets were better (it's shaped like a rectangle and everything falls out, also my hands are exposed a little bit). Also, the hood falls off easily, wish it zipped.

Just wore this coat to walk the dog in 27 degree F weather with a light breeze. I wore a microfleece top, insulated pants, and tall Ugg boots underneath. While it was bearable, I definitely wasn't warm. So I would rate this coat down to maybe 30 degrees, but nothing below that. Very disappointing as I wanted something that would truly keep me warm. Otherwise, the coat looks nice and I like the burgundy color.

This jacket seems to be just what I wanted except for the hood. The jacket fits perfectly but the hood flops down over my face fully covering it down to my mouth. With some fluffing and pushing it back I can get it to fit okay but I think it will be a persistent, annoying problem. I wish the hood had an adjustment on the back! Some people mentioned that the pockets are a bit low and not very big and I agree, although the zippered pockets inside the main pockets would securely hold items.

Wish the pockets were designed better. Kinda low and not deep. Definitely can't fit an iPhone. iPhone hangs out.

I wanted to love this parka. The length is good. But the pockets are just too small. The hood is huge! Sadly, I am returning the parka.

I bought this due to the adjustable drawstring waist, and it does help give some shape to the coat. I like that the hood is removeable, and the length is good. The zipper also works great. I would change one thing, and that's the bottom of the sleeves, which have a very narrow cuff. I also ordered the Mountain Classic Lined Jacket and it has a much wider cuff, which is preferable. I think the narrow cuff makes it feel like the sleeves are just slightly too short when sitting or reaching. If you have long arms, you may want to keep looking. Finally, it's a nice warm coat but not really wind-resistant. I wore this on a really windy day and could feel the blasts of cold through the coat. But I'll keep...it's sufficient for Ohio winters, which rarely dip below the teens.
