I love this coat - it rapidly became my go to daily winter coat for walking and driving. It is super comfortable, pockets are helpful, zip works, and it is cosy and so warm warm in these frigid temperatures. I am hoping it will wash well given the use it is likely to have!

Fit perfectly, I ordered a petite large. First winter coat that was exactly the right length in the arms! Light weight but very warm for brutal Michgan winters.

This parka is so warm! Perfect for an Alaskan winter. I haven't yet gotten to test it out in 40 below zero, but I'm thinking it will do fine. I get compliments on this coat (in green, 1x) ALL the time. I'm only 5 feet tall, and it isn't too long on me. It is a little roomier than I wanted (maybe I should've gone for an XL, but in that size, the bust might have been a little too tight) though I think it's fine if I want to layer a big sweater underneath and go sledding with my child. I think I'm going to sew faux fur to the hood, and sew the hood on permanently. Right now the three snaps that hold the hood on are pretty weak and ALWAYS come undone. I think this coat is comparable to $300 parkas.

Great coat, warm, cozy and well made. Not a ton of shape to it, but when the wind and snow starts doing it's thing, I'm ok with that. Love the classic LLBean logo and toggle strings. Spend the money, you won't regret it! Timeless classic.

Could not be happier with this purchase. It's slightly fitted so very flattering. Extremely warm, love the furry, inside cuffs that's also lines the pockets and lines the inside back. Could not be happier with my coat. I bought a size medium. Highly recommend.

I got an XL Petite to ensure the sleeves wouldn't be too long. There is plenty of room for layers underneath and so to some it might be considered not true to size. Haven't needed layers yet even here in Vermont, and I'm still happy with the fit. Kind of feels like I'm wearing a sleeping bag but in a good way. Love the two-way zipper and the snaps. Gives me lots of options since I sometimes just want to run outside for a short moment and snap a couple of buttons. I am pleased with the purchase. Seems like a good value.

Love the jacket. It is really cozy and warm in the face of blustery cold Boston winters. The small is a little bit large for me, however I don't mind because it just makes room for layers and boosts the cozy factor! If you want a more snug fit, perhaps try ordering a size down.

Very warm and also very light, exactly what I was looking for! I like to spend time outside in the winter, this jacket is perfect for that.

The fit is perfect. A bit big in the shoulders but it allows for great range of motion and room for layering if necessary. The sleeves are perfect in length and I like how the cuffs adjust and snap to keep the cold out. So many pockets! And three of them zip! No worries about losing my phone or keys in the snow. Warm, stylish, lightweight, plenty of pockets...this coat has it all. Very pleased!

I love my new down parka from LL Bean! It is nice and warm. Sometimes it can be too warm but I'd rather be hot than cold. I got a 1X so that I could wear bulky sweatshirts and still be comfortable. It's perfect.

I really like this coat. Quality seems great. It's a bit big, but to the degree you would expect a winter coat to allow for large sweaters/layers. It's really lightweight and I was scared it wouldn't be as warm as I wanted, but I wore it last week in 20 degree weather and was toasty warm with just one layer underneath.

The coat is very warm. I also love the pockets! There is an inside breast pocket and the exterior pockets have two layers, i.e. snap pockets and zipper pockets within! The adjustable waist makes for a customizable fit. Highly recommend!!!

This is a great coat. I agree with other reviewers that it runs large. I'm a solid medium with a large chest and I ordered a small after reading the reviews, and there is plenty of room for heavy sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. This coat is also super warm - I just got to test it out in 16 degree weather last week and I was very comfortable.

Glad I read the reviews that this jacket runs LARGE. I am usually a XS-P but decided to go with the XXS-M (petites were sold out) and it fits perfectly! I would say it only has enough room for one hoodie/sweater inside. I have also already washed this jacket twice and it has held up well. This jacket is warm enough for me (California) so can't comment on how it does in real cold places. Super cute and there are tons of pockets everywhere! Love it.

I got this coat in the navy blue. It's warm without being too warm and it's very light weight. It also repels water. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I absolutely love this coat! I live in Vermont where the temps can go from above freezing to below zero all in the same week. I needed something I could wear in wet conditions, snow, and keep out the wind. It does all of that. I also have a hard time finding coats with long enough sleeves for me and this fits great. There are adjustments in the waist to help with shape which is nice because no one wants to look like a big puff ball when they wear a down coat

This is my first ever winter coat, I am originally from Las Vegas so I had to get advice when ordering a coat for my first MN winter. So far, I am loving this coat! It's very comfortable, slimming, and most importantly - WARM. I asked a sales rep for advice on sizing and mentioned I am going to layer underneath, I am usually a medium. She said to get a large. This coat is a little big in the tummy area for an hourglass shape, even with cinching, BUT I can imagine the extra bit of room will provide the necessary space for lots and lots of layers :) I also appreciate the double pockets. The first pocket is lined on one side, the second inside pocket is lined on both sides- great for cold hands. Overall EXTREMELY satisfied with this purchase and thinking about buying a second coat in green :)

I bought this jacket about a month ago and have only worn it a few times. I like the adjustable draw cord inside as it gives the longish jacket more shape. It probably runs a little big so I purchased the small. It seems warm, a bit longer than most jackets and fits well.

I am tall - 6ft, and I was concerned this coat wasn't a tall...BUT it fit great. Arms are just at my wrists (not the best length - would want a bit longer, but for a non tall coat a huge win). Agree with the other reviews; runs slightly big, but will be perfect for bulky sweaters under coat. LOVE the coat.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to share mine. I went to LL Beanstore intentioned to buy longer length "Winter Warner Jacket". The one I wanted was not in stock, I did not want to leave as always having to have it mailed to me. I saw this coat after being bummed out that I'd have to order, I put on and was in love. Feels like my down comforter as a coat. Perfect fit, sized down from XL to Lg. Love everything about it from the perfect length, not too long not too short. I have worn over the past couple days of 25 degree weather. Super warm, and many compliments from people! I strongly suggest this jacket. The thinner ones just don't seem warm compared to this gem. The 25% sale made the purchase easier too:)

Love this new coat! It is extremely warm!! It has little zippered pockets inside the regular pockets that are perfect for storing your gloves so they are always there when you need them. Fits great. Lots of room. I probably could have gotten an XL instead of 1X but I wanted plenty of room and don't like coats tight.

I have been looking into getting a parka for a while and I'm glad I decided on this one. It's very lightweight to wear but warm. Nice and soft and the waist sinch option is great if you want a more fitted look. Would highly recommend. Wore this morning in 27 degrees and wind and felt fine. Love!!

I ordered the PM. I am a curvy fit and this well made jacket fit comfortably with a shirt and light sweater. Sleeves were the right length and the metal jacket zippers were just fine. (Was pleased I did not have to wrestle with a plastic zipper that sticks and snags!) Pocket placement was good. Very happy with this jacket!
