This coat is excellent quality. I originally ordered a medium (which tends to be my normal size) and even based on the size recommendations on the website but I returned it and ordered a small and the small fit me better. The drawstring option Provide a great look and fit. The coat is very warm and attractive!

This jacket is exactly what I needed in the current sub-zero Michigan temperatures. It is comfortable and extremely warm! My daughter suggested I order from L L Bean, and it was a winning decision.

I purchased this parka for the purpose of taking it on a Viking ocean cruise to Norway. But the funny thing is we just recently had a "cold snap" here in Florida and this coat kept me warm in 37 degree weather in southwest Florida. Its lightweight and so comfortable. I love it! I'm looking forward to taking this parka on our cruise to the Viking Shores!

5'3" and 120 lbs. Couldn't decide between petite regular or small regular. Went with the small regular. Coat fits perfectly. It's warm and comfortable.

I was afraid this coat would not fit because I am an apple shaped lady. I have a big belly and I was afraid it would not zip. I went ahead and ordered a 3x I am a size 20-22 and it fit me great there is enough room for a sweater too. The size chart is not too clear it doesn't say the measurements of the mid area it just has bust i believe and that's why I was nervous it would not fit. I love the coat. The hood is a little big but it has the little things you can stretch. Also I am short 5'2 and this coat is perfect it covers my but and keeps my thighs warm.

I have literally never left a product review. But I hemmed and hawed over buying this coat. And I love it! Warm, comfortable, nice shape, well thought out details, slightly vintage feel. It's structured and feels soft at the same time. I worried the green would be drab, but it's a lovely neutral.

I love this coat! I do wear a fleece or sweater under it when it's below 25 F here in Maine. I read a complaint that the hood is too big which it is but otherwise I love it and it keeps me warm.

I am 5'3", 155 lbs and got a M in regular sizing and it fits overall well. It is a little roomy but I had planned for and wanted that. It hits right above the knee and is very warm and well-made.

Sooo comfy and warm. It's like wearing a sleeping bag.

I love this coat. It's warm and comfortable. I don't feel scrunched up like with some winter coats because there's room in the arms and shoulders. I also like that it has snaps along with the zipper- it can be snapped close quickly if you don't want to fuss with the zipper.

This is a very warm and comfortable coat. I wear a large, however I was swimming in this and it's already a puffy coatso I ordered the medium and it fits perfectly!

I love this coat. I am short so hard to find winter coats that are comfy and don't swallow me. I am usually a medium petite but the small petite is perfect! Thank you for carrying varying sizing. I am so satisfied with this warm, comfy and great fitting coat! I'm now hooked on LL bean.

I am now rating the woman's. I thought I did that first, but that was my husband's men's parka. Please switch the information?? His is a LARGE, He is 5'11" and he weighs 160. MINE is this one... sorry. Put the information for his on this one..

Very nice jacket. It is warm and looks great. I just wish the sleeves were a tad longer.

Great coat perfect weight and fit for New England winters

Very happy with this jacket. The fit is a bit more generous than other name brand coats. The pockets are perfect and the warmth is exactly what I needed for cold Pennsylvania winters.

A very thoughtfully designed parka. I love it! It's lightweight, very warm, attractive, and functional. The pockets are amazing! Behind each hand warmer pocket is a zippered pocket. Hello pockets! Also has an inside zippered chest pocket. Comfortable inside waist drawcord. A high quality two-way zipper with snap placket gives you options. Back length covers my bottom. Has a good fitting insulated adjustable hood. It's so soft, lightweight, and cuddly. What's not to love?

I have been looking for just the right parka to replace my 11-year old LL Bean that has seen a lot of wear (but will remain in use as my "chore coat") and the Mountain Classic is spot on! It is impressively warm on the coldest winter hikes. I love that the hood is detachable because I rarely use a hood, preferring my hat. The interior chest pocket is the perfect spot for my phone and minimalist ID wallet. I also found the interior side zipper pockets excellent for securing my car keys and not worrying about them. On top of that side zippered pocket, there is still a place for my hands and hand-warmers if/when my gloves aren't cutting it. I will mention that, unlike some reviewers, I found the side pockets perfectly placed for my hands. Perhaps the difference is due to different statures. I'm 5'7" and I'm shorter in the torso but with long arms and legs. Therefore, I bought a large. I selected the color called burgundy and it is a beautiful bordeaux, somewhat darker than shown on my computer screen and I like the color a lot. I used the interior draw cord to nip the waist in just a bit for a more feminine silhouette. Great coat. Highly satisfied with my purchase.

This coat is perfect for Kentucky/Ohio winters. I was surprised how warm it is for being a relatively thin puffer. I'm 5'2 and ordered a petite.
