This coat was everything I hoped for! It's warm and cozy with lots of pockets to put gloves, phone, etc. I am short but the length was still perfect and there is still room inside to wear bulkier sweaters without it being too tight.

I'm always cold and this coat kept me very warm walking around at the Christmas Markets in Germany.

I love this parka, better than all the other brands I considered and at such a great deal. The hood has down!!! the navy is awesome. true to size with room for a sweater but with a waist that can be cinched. Love love love this parka. LL Bean is rocking the timeless New England styles this year. Should I stock up or will this better timeless styling stick?

I've had this jacket for about a month and have used it in many cold conditions. I am pleased with my purchase, both in terms of looks and performance. I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs and the medium gives me plenty of extra room for bulky layers underneath and comes down to just below my butt. I like the double pockets where my cell phone can be secured behind a zipper but the pocket is still open to keep your hands warm. The only slight design flaw I've noticed is with the hood. It is removable and attached with snaps which often come undone as I'm removing my purse. The hood stays attached by the snaps and Velcro on each side, so this is more of an annoyance than a real issue, but a zipper attachment would be a nice future upgrade to the jacket design.

This coat is very warm and I love how the hood can come off. I'm 5'4 and weigh 115 and got a x-small. I can still fit bulkier clothing underneath.

Had to send this parka back. It was a size to big. But I have four L L Bean Jacket. Love the soft light weight down jackets. They are made so well. This parka is great if you are out in the cold, but I'm retired and go out very little.

This coat is warm and cozy, and the cut is flattering for a down-filled garment. I love the fitted cuffs, to keep out the cold. I wish the pockets were deeper. I use this coat to walk my dog and need room for phone, gloves, flashlight, and cleanup bags. The inner pocket is great for my phone, but the side pocket design is such that things tend to fall out when not snapped. Otherwise, I love this coat!

I received my parka today and it was big. I have 4 L L Bean 3x jackets and they all fit me. I picked a black and I bought it because I love the light weight jackets. I was disappointed at the size and bulk. So since I have one in my closet I'm thinking to return it. Since I have a parka in my closet for two years and never worn I guess I'll have to settle for the 4 LLBean Jackets I already have.

Living in Cody Wyoming it can get very cold and windy. I am so very happy with the purchase of this jacket as it's been doing the job of keeping me warm. My only complaint is the pockets could be a couple inches longer. I have little hands and to me the pockets are too short.
