Bought this coat for my granddaughter who lives in Michigan and had spinal surgery to correct her scoliosis. The metal rods are a problem in cold weather. She said she loves it and that it's very warm.

I love my jacket. Bought the small one even thought i am 155lbs and 5'7 so that gives you an idea- it is made big. Quality is great and has a defined waist which I think makes for a great silhouette even though it is a puffy winter jacket.

Love this parka. Light weight, size is perfect. Couldn't be happier!!

5'4 @180 lbs apple shaped. Purchased an Xl in regular. Thought I'd get that out there first, which I find important. The fit is comfortable enough to fit a hoodie underneath if I wanted too. Sleeves are great, not too long ugh.. They are adjustable at the wrists, love it. The waist is cinchable which lessens the apple. It has kept me warm though I've only had it a few weeks. I live in NJ. With a hoodie underneath I think it's warm enough even on the coldest NJ days. I can't speak for those very northern states. Let's talk comfort. Well this is the most cozy winter coat I've ever owned. It's also the absolute first of this style that I've tried on that I can actually keep. This means I'm picky.. It doesn't poke me in the face or chin like many of these styles do as they are often stiff. There's nothing stiff about this coat. As far as looks well I'm chunky so I'm not going to look amazing lol however considering my apple shape again it fits very well. Very happy with my first puffy coat. I might just buy another! Purchased in Black.

I bought this jacket for a 2 week trip to England and France. It rained 80% of the time and it kept me warm and dry the entire time. I absolutely love this jacket but for 2 things. Every time I slightly pulled on the hood it would come unsnapped and I constantly had to fix it. The other is the zipper. Almost every time I had to finagle with the zipper for it to line up straight and it often got stuck. Both things were annoying when in cold rainy weather. But I was really impressed with the warmth and dryness of it. And I was walking in the rain a lot. I also really like the color. It's a nice green that goes with everything. I did wish the pockets were a bit bigger, but each pocket is two layers. One that is zippered and one that snapped.

The Parka is great! A little tight in the arms area so I had to go from Large to extra large. It is longer than other parkas so the pockets are very low , so if your short I suggest you order it in Petite. so I ordered a Petite Extra Large. It is definitely a great jacket for cold winters and the price is great!

I fell in love with the color of the coat. I ordered a size Large but could've used a Medium. The pockets are a bit awkward for me. They hang down a bit too low for me. The coat keeps you warm for the winter overall.

will need it for next winter but wore it outside to walk them dog ion a cold day and was very warm

Very happy with the warmth and quality of this down coat. My only issue is that the snaps are not so easy to snap

I bought this to wear in the Chicago winter and have been really happy that it keeps me nice and warm. I like the color and fit a lot. It does shed feathers occasionally though. And I had to do some trimming of loose threads but overall it's a win.

I love my coat! I always had a Bean down coat when I lived in Maryland but when we moved to SC for 10 years I had no use for them. We moved north again to Delaware about 2 years ago and winter has been quite cold at times, so I told my husband I wanted a new down coat for my birthday ! I'll be 75 this year and I really like how light and warm it is.

This jacket has so many great features that I don't know where to begin ! The warmth and wind proof are top priority features. The hood lays flat and out of the way when not being used as well as the collar. The zip pockets inside of the slip pockets are another great feature. I wish I had this jacket years ago. I'm so happy my husband purchased this wonderful coat for me

This is a wonderful length and warmth. this replaced my previous L.L. Bean that I had for 10 years.

I bought this to stay warm since we had a real winter this year with temperatures in the teens most days. I liked that it was a bit oversized so I could wear it over a sweater and the longer length kept the tops of my thighs warm. I also liked the double pockets (one zip and one open) so I could keep my phone secure. The color was a bit darker than it appeared on my screen.

This coat is great! The only thing that I would change is to make the side pockets deeper. Other than that, I am VERY happy with my purchase.

I got this coat about a month ago and it is by far my favorite coat ever. It's warm in the coldest conditions but cozy and doesn't feel bulky. I love this coat, a great purchase for me!

I brought this coat a few weeks ago and I love it. It's very warm, comfortable and the perfect length for the harsh winter's in Illinois. I read the reviews before I ordered the coat. Some negatives were that the hood is held on with plastic snaps and the pockets are very shallow. I completely agree with those negatives but I still love the coat. I do however avoid putting my gloves in the pockets for fear of losing one.
