The robe itself truly is lovely. It fits perfectly, and is very warm and cozy. The sleeves are not so long unrolled that they get in the way, and it comes down to my ankles (I'm 5'4"). Just be careful going up stairsI tripped on the hem.
However, there is one little detail that bothers me. As a former LL Bean employee, I have always been a huge fan of the products. My wardrobe is largely comprised of LL Bean shirts, pants, shoes, boots and outerwear, not to mention the bags. Some of these things I've had for over 30 years. I still have my messenger bag from high school in the early 90s. All this to say that the only time I've ever returned an item was because I wasn't pleased with the way it looked on me (color or fit). I've never been disappointed in the quality of an item, EVER. But I was very sad at the way the Berber fleece looked on the cuffs of this robe. The stitching looks absolutely terrible, and the fleece is very uneven. It's extremely unattractive. For me, it is not a sufficient enough defect to warrant returning the robe, especially since I love everything thing else about it. I just want people who might be bothered by this detail to be aware. It may be much less noticeable on the lighter colored robes.

I ordered petite I am 5'2" and the robe comes to the floor and because the zipper comes almost to the bottom of the robe to have it shorten is expensive because a new zipper would have to put in

Love the feel, warmth, fit, and color - just perfect for what I wanted. I purchased the blue plaid robe. It has 1 issue, the double zipper at the bottom of the robe. Sometimes I can zip and unzip in one try but usually it takes multiple tries because it will not connect with that bottom zipper very easily. If it only had 1 zipper it would be perfect. So frustrating that I am tempted to leave it zipped at the bottom and step in and out of the robe! Shouldn't be that way but it is.

I gave this robe four stars because while the fabric itself is super soft, the stitching where the sherpa meets the plush is scratchy. If you're one to be irritated by tags, etc., this will definitely be noticed.
The sleeves are about two inches too long if left down, and when rolled to show off sherpa, they are about an inch too long on my regular length arms.

This is an overpriced bathrobe, but I bought it anyway because it is really warm and soft. The zipper is plastic and a PITA and gets stuck, so I don't unzip it all the way. It doesn't shed or pill, unlike my old "fleece" LL Bean robes, which I will now donate. Ladies, put it on your holiday wish list and you won't feel the guilt.

Second one purchased, love its coziness and warmth but not the white cuffs. The cuffs get dirty and harsh after being washed a couple times. So it is a one season robe as it doesn't look clean even though it has been cleaned the cuffs look terrible. Such a shame!

This robe is very well made using soft, great feeling fabric. The only disappointment was the fit. I am usually a small or medium. I ordered a medium because I like a roomy robe for the winter months. This bathrobe was cut tighter than comfortable through the shoulders and thigh area. Would suggest sewing pockets on front of robe.

Warm, light-weight. Satisfied with purchase. Would have preferred patch pockets. I tend to "collect" things as I am using my robe.

This is my second one of these robes I replaced my first after 2 yrs as the zipper broke and I couldn't find a place to replace it .. I loved this robe.. thought this would be the same but not the same quality as the first, it is warm and comfortable but the claim that it does not pill is wrong.. I find the pilling annoying .. however the robe is warm and comphy ..

Very nice feel to fabric. Could be slightly larger at waist or maybe I could be a little smaller.

This soft robe is almost too warm. Great if you usually feel colder than others. Runs large. LEDGE color in online catalogue looks light brown, but the true color is gray. Well made. Launders well. Good value.

I've been wearing this for almost 2 months. It's the softest, warmest, most cozy robe that I've ever had. It could easily be 5 stars if not for one thing. The care instructions say do not use heat for drying. Even after using air only for a long time, it still took another whole day to dry hanging. Also, don't plan on wearing this robe in the summer unless you live in the Artic. This robe is worth every penney that I paid for it.

I love this warm, soft and cozy robe! Personally I would like to to be a little roomier in the hip/thigh area. It is very straight.

I like the robe a lot. It is warm, soft, plush, comfortable. My only criticism is the pockets. I would suggest the pockets should be made with a thinner fabric for a more attractive profile.

Very plush, but a bit oversized. Haven't washed it yet, so unable to comment on that.

It's warm, fits well, but the color is awful. Not at all what I was expecting.

Got it for my elderly mom- very warm and cuddly. Ordered a petite, yet sleeves are still a bit long for her. But I gave it to her for Xmas and she's been lounging around in it ever since! So overall- a win!

I am thrilled with the warmth of this robe and the beautiful color. I love the double zipper. I have two minor complaints. As a tall woman (5'9") I wish it was a bit longer. The sherpa fleece at the cuffs is a bit heavy and bulky especially if you use the cuffs up. I need them rolled down for length and they still feel a bit thick and heavy although they are warm!

I love the fabric and general styling of this robe, including the zipper closure. I would recommend 2 changes however: the pockets on the side seam add a lot of bulk vs. having patch pockets on the front. Additionally, the Sherpa trim on the sleeves is quite bulky. (I'm planning to have the robe altered to fix both of these issues.)

Very cozy. Wearing this is like wrapping yourself in a warm hug. I'd like it a bit shorter though (minus 1 star).

Love it. I had purchased one in "ledge" a few weeks earlier & loved it so much I bought a 2nd one in what I would describe as "dusty rose" (not their name). It's the warmest article of clothing I have ever owned, flattering too.

The warmth and feel of the robe is exactly what I was hoping for, however, the double zipper feel cheap and flimsy. It is often difficult to engage. I have two other robes from you which have stronger zippers.

Bought one two years ago and seam opened so it was returned and LLB cheerfully sent me another. Because I frequently wear flannel (LLB of course) nightgowns there requires some tugging to get sleeves off and a cuff seam to body of arm sprung a hole. I sewed it. And I have learned to be more careful when taking it off. The material and the seams apparently simply cannot be as sturdy as the total heavier LLB fleece one I also have. Except for that it rates 5 stars for all else. Zipper keeps it well secured around you and washing it on delicate/gentle with cold water works fine. This material just needs a bit more coaxing rather than pulling sleeves as usual. Love it! Bought bigger size as I love loose robes and room for PJs or nighties.
