These boots are remarkably comfy even though they are stiff leather. The extra-thick bottom soles provide a whole lotta cushioning. I think they look great -- I'm comfortable wearing them with a dress -- and I'm happy to now own moderately-priced Rieker brown boots for winter. I love Rieker and these do not disappoint.

I was surprised how well these fit my narrow feet. The heel is loose, but because the top covers my feet well, it's impossible to walk out of them. The reason I'm returning them is that the ankle section is so tall, that it has to be hidden under my pants, and my jeans will get caught on the back of the boot every time I sit down. I really want something like this that slips on and is only ankle height - not boot height.

Finally, after some trial and much error, I have found a boot to replace my 15-year-old Riekers. The quality is still there with these boots. While I miss my tall boots--(Rieker no longer makes that style) these should fit the bill. I haven't taken them off since I took them out of the box. Thank you.

I've been on the hunt for a winter-friendly everyday chelsea boot with good tread, so I was excited to get these after doing a ton of research. When they landed, I was pleased to see how well-built they are, but also disappointed to find that the Mud color is a lot more of an olive-tinged dark gray-brown (not bad but I was hoping for brighter/lighter tones, which works better for my wardrobe). They also ran big on me: I'm a size 8/8W who can sometimes fit into a 7.5W in flats, and these boot in size 8-8.5 (39) were comfortable widthwise but definitely a half size too long for me and made my feet look huge. These are going back but I'll definitely look to Rieker for other options, likely in size 38s.

These were exactly as advertised. I just need a wider width.

I like the look of these, but I find they are not the most supportive so I avoid them if I am going to do much walking. The soles feel sort of flat and unpadded.
