These are so soft and so comfy I could live in them

These are my go to in cool weather so I have some warmth on my legs as I go on winter hikes. So very soft and comfortable

Love that the legs are longer (even when you don't get cropped, others come up short). Really comfortable all day, in heat or cold!

These are wonderful! So very soft and not too tight. Although the waist is so high, I can't wait for the medium/low rise to come back. I will be wearing these for errands, travel, and working from home in the winter. Happy to see all the colors too. These for better than the 7/8 leggings which were same size (medium) but fit tighter in the waist. 128lbs 5ft 6 inch althletic build and medium is wonderful.

Both as leggings and a warm base layer

These just arrived; I have tried them on, and they are a good fit. Can't wait to try them on a Christmas hike.

Love the fit and the color.Im short so legs are a bit long,worn with chunky socks cover that easily. Very stretchy and could size down if you want a tighter fit.

I love these leggings. I can wear them for a few days without washing. I am changing my entire wardrobe over to Smart Wool. It just makes my life so much easier!

This is great base layer for any activity. Super comfy, doesnt make you sweat or be cold.

Nice tights for Cycling. Love the fabric not too thin nor too thick, pockets!! And a good muted red. I'm a size 12 and got the XL for a not so tight fit. Bicycle Happiness!

The material and the fit on these are great. The leggings are comfortable and don't slip down. Perfect for all my outdoor and fitness activities.

Xsmall are not "tight" fitting and slide. My biggest complaint with workout leggings. I planned to wear these as a base layer, say under ski pant or casual pant when warmth is needed. Bought on sale (not here) great price.

I was hoping to wear these out of the house with a tunic but I think they're a bit thin for that. Nonetheless the color is wonderful, fabric is soft on the skin and I'll wear around the house a lot. The elastic strip in the waist is tight for me. I'd prefer no elastic at the top.

Very comfortable fit that wears well for a warm cuddle indoors and a run outside; however the back pocket in the waist band is useless and defeats the purpose of carrying things on the run. I would have expected a better quality at this price point.

It's too warm outside to use them still and I may return them. They fit well (I'm 165 lbs and 5'6") and are very comfortable but I thought they contained wool throughout so will not be warm enough for hiking in the mountains of Scotland in October. For the price I would have expected this. I will probably return them for something wool. Too bad. I really do like them.

I'm not sure why Smartwool did not put a back zipper pocket and a drawstring like their shorts. The other thing these leggings fall short on is that there is no merino wool lining in the crotch area! I kept them because I got them on sale and they fit well and stay up which is an issue for me. But overall, there is nothing about these leggings that standouts compared to other $100+ leggings.

The seems are awful in these pants. I wore them twice and there were strings hanging loose. I filled out the product guarantee form months ago and never heard back. Very disappointed in this company.
