Great quality as always but returned because the cream color showed thru to the bra, I think I need to purchase the thicker 250 next time.
Also why do you no longer go by 250 or 125 in your description?

I have four of these shirts. After less than a year, all of them have holes in the seams at the armpits. It's a shame because these overall are the perfect shirt for both summer and winter.
For the price, they need to last longer.

I have another smart wool base layer that I love. But the new one is much thinner and has a very irritating hanging loop at the back of the neck. I had to remove it in order to wear the shirt. Unfortunately it was sewn on very tightly. Not sure I would buy this particular shirt again.

I was looking for off white / ivory and online looked perfect but "natural" is really very soft yellow.
Had one from last year in off white but shrank and gave to my daughter who loves it. I should have ordered the next size up which I've done in other base layers and all are great in the colors I ordered. I would like to buy off white / ivory. Thank you for good quality. I live in cold rainy Northwest and really appreciate your base layers. Maybe need some pretty, flattering colors.

I wear these all the time. However, I feel like the new ones are cut different. I have the same shirt from 2021 and it has a more fluid fit. What's nice about the old fit is it doesn't cling which is important in the hot Florida sun...yes, I wear my old smartwool shirt during the summer. Customer service suggested I purchase a size up if it felt too clingy, not sure yet. But I do wear the new clingier version during the winter.

A solid piece but a bit expensive for an "all-season" this item will have to be worn under something else as it is too thin for modesty. I would not be able to wear it alone, with or without a bra, as you will be able to see both. It fits well and was comfortable. I noticed no difference with other long sleeve shirts regarding odor resistance, I wore it for 24 hors while traveling and could smell it.

It is SO overpriced I can't believe I bought it! The material feels so flimsy and cheap and there's nothing special about the top at all.

I am a big fan of the Smartwool merino crew top. I ordered the navy blue merino in size small.
Unfortunately it is too large and lightweight. I will have to order the 250 merino baselayer which is more expensive.

I use these base layer crewneck shirts primarily for teaching yoga. The slim fit is good s people can see what I'm doing as I demonstrate. However, this one is too thin and too long. So I would have to pay to shorten it and it's not worth the extra expense since the fabric is too see-through. I will be returning this for a refund, sorry to say.

Smartwool fabric quality is just not what it once was. I miss the quality!

I am not as happy with this top as it feels like a different material than my other all-season L/S tops. It also runs a bit small :-(

The Fox Brown color is fantastic. I ordered a medium, which is my usual size, and it was so tight overall that it looked awful. I wanted this badly enough that I sent the medium back and ordered both a large and an extra large, hoping that one would fit. But even the extra large was tight across the chest, while being much too large in the arms. So I had to send the large and extra large back as well.
This might be okay for someone who is really small in the chest and who orders a size up. But it didn't work for me.

I've worn and washed the shirt 3 times. It seemed a little big when I got it, but I figured it would shrink a bit to fit just like the size large blue one I have that is exactly the same shirt. Well, it didn't shrink and it's definitely bigger than the blue one I love. It's also a little thinner I think and it just doesn't look flattering on me. It's kind of hangs. Pretty disappointing.

Bought this as a thin base layer for snow sports. I get hot so I thought the thin layer would be good for me. It kept me warm. It if I thought about it I felt itchy. It's not soft at all. Whoever says it's soft has never worn something soft. I thought it would soft and itch free like the mid weight base layer I purchased for my daughter last year.

I like merino wool tops for all purposes. My purchases over the years have performed and held up well. The past season women's long sleeve 150 base version doesn't show through. This all season version is quite thin and definitely shows through. The merino/nylon percentages are about the same, it's the weight that's different. The colors (pistachio, carnival) are pretty, but overall I'm disappointed with the fabric change. "Made in" also changed. FWIW, I have several of the lace version, and love these with jeans and dress pants. I expected them to seem thin.

I'm concerned how long this base layer is going to last because it's almost sheer. I love the color, but I don't know that the quality is worth the amount paid.

the shirt is fine but the customer service to get a refund with an exchange has been horrendous.

The almond colour is completely see through. For the price, I would expect better quality. It's also a bit itchy. I don't have that issue with any of my other smartwool items.

I was completely disappointed with sweater, as it was so thin that it was see through ! I could never wear this as a shirt as I had intended. Could not believe the poor quality given the price.

I really want to like this but it is just too long. I'm 5'2 and it comes down far below my hips- not a great look. I had a taller friend try it on and it was still on the long side. I wish you made petites or made kids clothing larger than size 10/12. I will return this top.
