This was heavy, didn't drape well and was way bigger than the same size from other, reputable companies.

Great looking sweater if you do not have a slim build. We loved the color and material, but it was way too baggy.

I bought two of these, one in port and one in green. I have been wearing the V-neck cotton/cashmere sweater for years. This sweater, in the same size, has sleeves that are 3 inches longer. And, as others have mentioned, they will not stay up if pushed back. The answer might be to cuff them - but the seems inside the cuffs are finished roughly, with protruding yarn ends and look awful. OK for home, but marginal for even my, very casual, workplace. The port sweater also had a yarn end sticking out in the middle of back, which showed up when I washed it. I pulled it in and applied Fraycheck. The seam between the V and the body at the neck of the green sweater unraveled. I have just sewn it down so I can launder the sweater. I feel that one should not have to repair a $70 sweater (not to mention both $70 sweaters) within a month of receiving them. Image is of the seam before repair. John from Ohio warned me that the sleeve would fall over my hand but I ordered anyway. I will also be returning it. If sleeve length is a concern at all I would avoid this because the cuff is very loose.

Super disappointed. This sweater is not even a little soft. To top it off, I got what was clearly someone else's return, which was missing the tag and had pale color e dog hairs all over it.

Bogus ! Def not "Wicked Soft" at all- rough weave cotton. AND - only 5% Cashmnere yet they sure title it as though its a soft, cashmere sweater- it's $79 for a frigging rough, cotton sweater.

The fabric has piled after only 2 wears and 1 wash. There is a wear pattern from the seatbelt across the chest. Don't recommend.

Sweaters did not hold their shape. Sleeve cuffs and waist were stretched and baggy at first wear.

I previously bought 2, V Neck, soft, light weight 95/5 blend sweaters. This was described as soft, lightweight, not bulky which sounded just like my previous purchases. Instead it is bulky, heavy, not soft and smaller than the previous. What happened? Bring back what was a winner. I'm returning immediately.

Sweater just arrived; returning it in the morning, what happened to your choices, year after year I'm able to order a lightweight cashmire, v neck sweater..I received a chunky, only 5 % cashmire, so heavy, not even soft ..! What happened? Perfect for my 95 year old dad to ward off a chillvery disappointed, will be looking else for one

Sweater is very heavy and while comfortable, just hangs terribly on the body. The weak elastic on the bottom puts out a serious "love handle" vibe. I tried washing it hot and shrinking it but it sill just looks terrible. Has a bid "lie' on the body. To answer the question below accurately, "How does it fit" I'd have to say badly. Not too small, not too big, just bad.

The color and fit were great but on close inspection there are a couplle of faint stains on the front. Not sure what caused these but my husband noticed these right away when he unwrapped his present, so we we will be retuning it,

The neck of the sweater is really wide. Dealbreaker

I'm so disappointed. First the package did not arrive when promised. Second the sweater is only 5% cashmere, not enough to feel remotely like cashmere, and runs large to boot.

Shades lint real bad, wore a Navy Blue sweater with a pair of Khaki pants, there was so much lint on the pants it was embarrassing. Have not worn the Gray one yet, hate see what it would do to a pair of Navy pants. Really a poor quality sweater coming from L L Bean, could have done best at Wal Mart.

Please stop advertising this sweater to be "wicked soft". It is not soft at all. Disappointed.

Runs big and the material is not high quality. Orderd a medium

Great color but the sweater was easily 1-2 sizes too large . The sleeves were too long and the body had room for more of me.

I bought two of these sweaters a year ago in different colors. Ordered another a few days ago. I tried it on when it arrived and it felt bigger than the ones I bought before. I compared measurements and found the sleeves on newly ordered sweater to be almost two inches longer than the old version. The neck opening was also larger on the new arrival.

I just received the back ordered Black Forest Green in size Medium. The sweater was huge both in fit and sleeve length. It was the largest "medium" I have ever purchased from any retailer. Additionally the price tag said $59.95 even though I paid $69.95. This was my most disappointing L.L. Bean purchase ever.

I should have known. I don't like cotton sweaters because they don't hold their shape (they stretch and sag). I has hoped the inclusion of wool (cashmere) would work to make it hold its shape. I was wrong. This was my fault. The advertised it truthfully.

Runs too big , size small was to big for me 5'10" 170 lbs returned and bought a different model , I love this brand but this was a miss
