My husband bought this jacket for a recent trip to Europe. It was a weight between his heavier LL Bean jacket and lightweight spring jackets. It worked well in the chillier weather and it looked great on him!

Men's medium fits comfortably and does repel the wind.

Great jacket, it's my go to jacket. I use it all the time.

Pleasantly surprised to find this an improved model of my favorite go to jacket. Nice slimming cut but not restrictive. Good length and the ultra light fleece lining in the sleeves cuts the mains. Feels great with a T shirt.

Perfect jacket for mid season. It is well made, can almost pass as dressy casual. We are old, but my husband looks mod, and part of the present, not the past. Hooray, LL BEAN!

I was able to do a brisk walk for an hour outside all winter in Chicago. Now I must qualify that by saying it was a relatively mild winter but from 25 degrees Fahrenheit and above I was comfortable with 2 base layers and this jacket, and it is more effective protection against wind than fleece. I am 5'9", 185 lbs, more of a "stocky build" the Large is a little big on me.

Well made and very comfortable and fits as described.

I purchased a size large regular. I'm 6'2" and weigh about 215 and this jacket fits perfectly. I wear it all the time. Great Spring/Fall jacket and protects you from the wind. It really is a terrific value!

I practically live in this jacket fall, winter and spring. It is very comfortable feeling and good by itself in cool weather and light rain or snow. In winter, it is great for skiing as a mid-layer with a waterproof shell over it. My favorite since the all-conditions fleece of years past.

I like this shirt because it is warm. It looks great and it comes from a great company.

Best softshell Windbreaker: performs, looks and feels GREAT!! 5 Stars out of 5 Stars!! Breathes exceptionall well and keeps the warmth inside when it gets cold. My go to jacket for 3 of 4 seasons, repels rain really well, does a great job. Love the length, covers my whole back and lower.

Trim, warm, go-to-church stylish. Adjustable cuffs rather than elastic. Color works with other garments. I really love it.

Comfortable, warm, looks great and a great color! I'm 5'9" and about 150 lbs and the medium is about right for me - roomy enough where layers won't be an issue, but not baggy looking.

Purchased this jacket late fall. It is warm and perfect for outside activities. Not heavy, not restricting, just right for spring & fall. Looks really sharp too!

We live in the SF Bay Area and when my hubby wanted a new jacket I thought this one would be perfect! And it was! He has gone from an XL to a L and this fit him perfectly . He wears it almost every day and says it keeps him warm but not overwhelmed by " bulk". Another winner for LL BEAN!

Needed to replace my husband's work jacket. He goes in and out of many plants. Needs to look clean cut but not too dressy. The jacket is a perfect mesh of professional and practical. It is warm enough without being too hot.

Nice jacket, really works well when layering . Comfortable and light. I use this when bicycling as I wanted something windproof although not heavy. It fit's the bill perfectly and was a great purchase.

I wanted a jacket for fall, early winter, and spring that was insulated but not too heavy. This jacket fits the bill for me. Really happy with it. I bought it in blue, and it's a different shade of blue (more lilac or lavender, not royal or navy), which for me is a plus. It's a little larger than I expected (for a large) but maybe that's how sizing runs now, or it's designed so you can be layered underneath.

Exactly what I was looking for in a coat. Something to wear in fall. Wind proof is exceptional. Water resistant works well too. Zippers are high quality. The front pockets have zippers. The interior pockets have a nice size and they are easy to access. Only issue I have with the coat is, I sometimes grab the upper pocket zipper instead of the coat zipper. lol.
