For me , this definitely didn't run small. It's true to size. Very warm! Wore it on a hike without another outer layer on an upper 30s degree day, and it was more than adequate. Incredibly soft and the hand warmer pocket in front is awesome. Great product.

I generally wear 34/35 long sleeve or large (tall) shirts for correct arm length. I bought both the red and blue - gray print fleeces, and they fit perfectly for arm length, shoulders and a 36" waist. However, if you have wide shoulders and a stomach that precedes you into the room, you probably ought to go for XL. BTW, these shirts are extremely comfortable to wear (light, soft inside and out as well as warm). Great for those cooler days!

This is a warm, well designed jacket, the red color is bright but not too flashy.

I am usually a true Medium in most shirts and jackets, but based on a couple reviews stating that this fleece ran a little small, I ordered a Large. Very glad I did, because it fits perfectly so I'm sure a Medium would've been too small. I'm 6'0" with relatively long arms and the large fit me perfectly. Overall it's a warm and great-looking fleece, but just be advised it seems to run a bit small.

Bought this as I wanted a comfortable and quality sweater for the winter. I don't usually wear jackets and this will do for most of the time. The material is soft on the inside making it very comfortable. The buttons are perfect as you can open them if you are too hot.

This is a beautiful fleece! Every time I have worn it, someone compliments me on how good it looks or how comfy and cozy it appears. I purchased an navy blue XL and it is roomy, which to me is good as I am usually wearing a couple of layers underneath, and I don't like a tight fit. Highly recommend!

As a commercial photographer I am in a lot of environments a week; indoors. outdoors, could be in a plane, or shooting in a restaurant, so I need clothes that look and feel at home in all these places. Bean's fleece wear not only fills the comfort and wearability column well, but it looks dignified and friendly in all these places as well... in fact I am wearing this piece of clothing as I write this.

This fleece is super soft and comfortable, and it's surprisingly warm. The print looks great. I like for clothes to be a snug fit, and this is definitely cut that way. I'm pretty skinny. If you are a bigger guy, this might be a tight fit for you. The arms are longer than the body of the jacket.

I bought this for my son - he usually takes a medium which was a little too snug. The large was fine - especially after a washing.

Everyone loves this half zip, the first thing they say to me is "I need to get one of those." It's cozy and comfortable. Love it!

I am female and saw this sweater fleece in the men's catalogue but bought it for myself. I love roomy shirts for layering and I love comfort. This pullover is very cozy & and love the fall colors and design. Women soon always check men's shirts, sweaters and coats to wear themselves. Some styles work for both.

So far I'm really digging this pullover. I wasn't sure if I would like the design but it looks really nice in person. It's comfortable and fits my body type well. I'm 6'2 and 225 pounds and the large fits me great. I can totally picture myself in the ski lodge sipping on some cocoa with this one on! Thanks, L.L.Bean!

My 15-year-old got this with some Christmas gift cards and he loves it! It's a really nice hybrid of sporty fleece and handsome sweater. My son is a very slim 5'8" and the Med fits him well, so it probably would be snug for bigger guys. Agree with another reviewer that it would be nice to see some brighter (or even pastel-y) colorways.

My husband loves his sweater and has been wearing it almost daily. It's soft and warm and he says it's very comfortable. it is casual but it's also elegant enough that he could wear it when we go out for dinner at a place that does not require wearing a tie.

This is a very comfortable fleece. I wear it a lot indoors but when it is a bit milder I know it will keep me warm outdoors too. I got the green one, both prints were very nice, maybe I'll get the blue one. And maybe one with the hood too! Mine does seem a little short and boxy, but I am typically a medium and that is what I ordered. I am pleased with this purchase overall. I think I may have hit a sale too which makes it better, since I think the original pricing is a little expensive.

My friend got one of these as a present, I tried it on and fell in love. I immediately went online to see if it can be purchased but all sizes in cayenne are out of stock. More need to be made ASAP! If possible women's sizes should be considered in this color. So cute with my bean boots and bean sig jeans. Please please make more asap!!!

I love this sweater fleece. It's not bulky or heavy and still provides plenty of warmth with layering.

Beautiful sweater with a great pattern, but it ran a bit too large. Not large enough to send back but still looks a little bit roomy.

The snaps are not very functional (can't always be secured)

Great for layering under my Baxter State Parka! Winds blows right through it. Not unexpected though. Nice colors and fit. Cuffs fit nicely, don't slide over wrists. Material is not super warm, light activity is needed here to generate heat.
