My boyfriend is raving over this sweater. Exactly what he wanted. It fits great, looks great, and has a great feel.

I ordered a standard XL and returned it for an XL Tall. I needed a little more length in the arms and general length. The Tall was the ticket.

Since the sweater is made of wool, it needs to be worn over a layer. It is also so warm that it is difficult to wear indoors. The fit is spot on, and the weight is light enough that freedom of movement is not hindered. It will be a great addition to layering in the northern states that have experienced so much snow this winter.

My wife enjoys my wearing this sweater. The fit was great, color perfect, Marino wool is my favorite. Very warm and comfortable.

I had received one as a gift a couple of years ago, and was more than happy with it and it still looks like new. So when I had a chance to get a second one (different color) at a discount, I couldn't pass it up. This is a very warm, high quality sweater that won't disappoint

This sweater is very high quality. It is true, thick wool. It reminds me of wearing a blanket because of how warm it is. Like other reviews state, it does run on the larger side, but that is how it's meant to fit. It doesn't bother me. I am thrilled with the sweater and believe it is worth the price.

My husband loved this birthday present. He put it in immediately and wore it every day for a week. He says it is very comfortable.

I was looking or an extra warm sweater that I could wear over 2-3 layers to keep me warm during coldest months. This sweater met the goal. It is sized slightly larger to allow the extra layers. Sleeves are somewhat longer than normal Large from LL Bean. The wool is high quality. The workmanship is solid. Should last for many years.

Bought this for skiing in the teens. Perfect. Warm, soft, typical LL quality. If you need a wool sweater it doesn't get any better.

I wasn't sure what to think until I put the sweater on. It's actually exactly what I wanted. Big enough to layer underneath and warm enough to wear over a t-shirt for a walk in the 30's. The neck zips up high and snug, so if you don't like things around your neck you might might like it. Overall I am very pleased with this sweater and hope to wear it traveling when this COVID mess is over.

Best cold weather layering garment available for outdoor activities anywhere near this price range. Got one for myself in men's for duck hunting, and one of the women's style for my niece when she moved from Virginia to Montana. She loves it as well.

I normally fit to a 3X. It was HUGE. I returned it for a 2X and it is still "generous", but not overly large. Very well made, is very heavy and makes a great outside garment. i would recommend it highly. Great product and company.

I love the Merino wool. Fine collar when up. Great for colder days. Just a touch wandering around when putting on or taking off, but I don't really mind that that much.

I now have two of these in different colors. Consistent fit and large enough to wear over layers. It resists pulls and is comfortably warm on damp, cold days afield.

my 1st sweater was sans the wind block,loved it. fits perfect, slighty big enough for an undershirt and a flannel shirt, on me. i'm not a large framed man. my first was this exact sweater, 20 + years ago. wore that sucker out coupla years ago, my second was the sweater with 'wind blocking ' liner...coupla years and i passed it on to one of my sons, didn't like the 'shush shush' sound. so here i am, enjoying this wool warmth without any noise! you will too! go getcha one!

The real thing, a genuine wool sweater, just right for a cold or damp day. Collar is too stiff & bulky to zip all the way up, but on a sufficiently chilly day I would always be wearing a lightweight t-neck underneath. Fit is loose, like a cold-day garment, not slim like something designed for a New Year's party.

Trying to find quality clothes for my very tall and large husband is no easy task, however this sweater is perfect. The arms are long enough, the fit overall is great... and he looks great! Another win for us!!

Great fit , comfortable wool weight

I wear my sweater every morning on my walk. Feels great, plenty warm and very comfortable. Wish I had the olden color one too.

I have tons of sweaters, some wool, some cotton, some cashmere. This is my new favorite. It fits perfectly, is warm, but not hot, the texturing in the fabric is top notch. And the subtle color shades are unusually elegant. I will get a few of these.

The sweater is very warm, good for cold weather. My husband loves it. It was a Christmas present.
