I originally purchased an 8 regular in women's. They were too tight across the toe box. I'm in my mid 30's and have had 3 kids so perhaps my feet have widened naturally, but generally I don't need a size "wide". I returned the 8R and then got an 8 wide. They were way too big, and my heel was sliding around. I really like the simplicity and beauty of these boots so I continued to try for the goldie locks fit! I then exchanged for 7.5 wide and they are the best fit. I am generally an 8 regular. They feel ever so snug in the heel an toe box, but I am okay with that because they are leather and will mold to my foot plus I've tried the other possible sizes I think would work, so I'm sticking with the 7.5w. I also love how they are a bit squishy on the foot-bed to give the soles of my feet some extra comfort, as well as more tread on the soles for those slippery Seattle rainy/sleety days! I also wanted a low heel, for more informal everyday wear where I didn't feel I was towering over most people. I'm only 5.7, but feel I don't need too much of a heel. Overall I would recommend, but getting the right size may be tricky.

These boots are very attractive, but a very odd fit. I tried various insoles to see if I could get them to work, but I couldn't. There is arch support, but there should be more, in my case I thought more arch support would stop my foot from sliding forward. The heel area is way too loose. The forefoot area fit well (wide size for a wide foot), but the heel was so loose that my toes got cramped as my foot slid forward.

I've always liked the foot padding of softwalk, but I think I need more width. However, when zipped up, the top chafes my ankle, so I don't think I will order the wider model. It's too bad since I really liked the style.

These are very cute and I was excited about the color, style and that they are leather. However, the opening wasn’t even accessible enough to get my foot in. Very sad, returning today.

These boots are basic and look really, really nice - exactly what I was looking for! Just a very nice looking pair of causal, low boots! Heel hight is perfect. I love them and wore with jeans yesterday. Very comfortable! I ordered a 10 Narrow. Will definitely order another pair - hopefully my size in black will be restocked!

Simple and comfortable, would have kept them except for the hard plastic heel. Why bother with nice leather and quiet rubber for the sole and use hard plastic on the heel? I don’t understand that.

I was hoping for a wider boot but the quality of this leather boot will allow me to stretch it as needed across the toe box. Otherwise, they are very comfortable.

Felt true to size and width however the ankle opening was uncomfortable when walking because of the smaller opening size and stiffness of the leather. They squeezed and sort of pinched my ankle while walking. I wanted to love the beautiful boots but alas, I had to return them. They are beautifully made and look just as pictured.

I liked the look of these boots but the arch was too pronounced and uncomfortable. I ended up returning them.

Quality materials; solid narrow fit; I will buy SoftWalk boots again.

I really wanted these to work. I have a slim width and these narrow boots were way to wide. Also only one zipper actually zipped so getting in and out was very difficult. I returned.

Great boots! The arch support is a good fit for me. The cushioned insole really helps my metatarsal pain. It was a splurge to spend this much for boots but well worth it. They are well made and the color (luggage) is beautiful!

This is a great pair of boots. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them. Excellent quality. Highly recommended.

My foot is very narrow, especially my heel. These boots are perfect! My heel is not slipping and the arch support is just right!

Material was nice and liked the low cut in front but it fit a little wider than I thought so I should have closen a little bit narrower

Fit was OK, I wanted it a tad bigger to accommodate my larger right foot. But the color was way off in my opinion. I was looking for an exact match to the photo, which it is not.

The narrow size was fine as far as the foot space is concerned. The boot squeezed my ankle and the ankle opening was not comfortable when walking. Had to return.

Great style and heel height but they need a little break in time.

The fit was perfect that it rubbed on my right ankle that was previously broken. These boots are really cute but I will have to send them back.
