Belt was true to color and size. I own several belts like this and have been pleased with all. So far I've not any problems with color fade as other customers have experienced. However I would admit the belt is a bit pricey.

I picked up the walnut and merlot to match some hard to match shoes, Strands, wingtips, etc. Hard to justify spending over $100 on a belt, but I liked them so much I got another one when I bought some dark brown Strands. Obviously, these are still fairly new, so I cannot comment on how well they will hold up. I don't know if they are twice as good as $50 belts, however I'm thinking about getting a black one.

Can A belt make a difference? Try Walnut Strand with this walnut belt. Not only the color matches (in fact a little darker, so you might wear with Chili), it has same matching patterns. Men's fashion is simple, almost monotonous, but this will give you something to look at, in unity.

Bought Dalton Windtip Dress Boots, and fell in love with them. This belt has the same perforated design as the wingtip of Dalton Boots. And color is the exact match. Sizing: According to the live chat, THE BELT SIZE MEANS MEASUREMENT FROM THE CENTER OF THE BUCKLE TO THE MIDDLE HOLE. IT HAS FIVE HOLES (one inch between holes.) Women's trousers don't usually say waist size, and they often come in low rise that requires bigger size than the waist. I measured my belt that fits my trousers, from the center of the buckle to the hole. I ordered that size, and it was a perfect fit. So, women can enjoy Allen Edmonds too! Compared to these, most women's shoes and belts look like a toy although often much more pricey. I wish you make more products that fit women too!

I have purchased this belt to accompany my Bordeaux Shell Cordovan LWB shoes (not the AE made) for regular office wear. The fit feel and color match with the perforations is just amazing. Solid belt and I am sure it will provide me many years of service and wear. I am glad to have made this pricey investment.
