The belt is fine if you are looking for a brown-ish colored belt. However, this was not even remotely close in color to the Fifth Avenue bourbon shoes that I ordered.

I have purchased several different colors of this belt. Most recent purchase was Dark Chili. The color almost appears to be on the surface only. When I had to tighten the belt to the next hole it left a line where the belt had been worn. It also wore the color off where the belt goes into the keeper. Disappointed with the Dark Chili. Other colors haven't done this.

Bought this belt in Bourbon to match my Mora Monstraps and the color difference is akin to looking at oak vs. dark cherry flooring - it's that far off....I already own plenty of brown belts that don't match these shoes, and I don't need to add another, especially at this price....Is anybody in Quality even looking at a color standard....?

I am surprised this belt is being offered because the quality is not up to the high standards of Allen Edmonds. The leather is excellent. The buckle, however, tarnishes after 10 or so wearings. Apparently, it is plated. The top surface wears off which results in the base metal color coming through. The result is a multi colored hue reflective of a cheap belt. I now wear it with jeans, although it is advertised and sold in stores to pair with dress shoes. It's too late to return it. I remain a loyal customer. I am just disappointed in this belt.

I purchased a walnut version in the SF store and after only a few months the color started to rub off. Really poor quality. I might try and take it back. My first review looks like it got deleted so I don't know if this one is going to go through.
