After my left knee replacement surgery I needed to have my right shoe built up to balance my leg lengths. I tried the Stonington shoes and was very pleased with their comfort and quality, and construction. They are an excellent choice for my build up needs. I have purchased a second pair as backups.

These shoes are great, very comfortable and look great. My wife said they're beautiful!

Supportive but not clunky, classy yet versatile for shorts or pants

My wife bought these for me and I have had several pair of Stonington shoes that look and feel great, and these are exactly that. They are better looking in person and fit really well. I wear them with jeans mostly and could not be more pleased.

Just as comfortable as his Brooks, if not more. The laces didn't suit the style and were replaced with brown.

The shoe is perfect for the winter season; great comfort and warmth plus style!

These are really nice casual shoes that are very comfortable. They have a feel of being in nice tennis shoes. The only down side in my opinion is I would rather leather laces that don't come untied often.

I bought this shoe in August of 2023. It is the best most comfortable and versatile shoe I have ever owned. I am buying another pair today just as insurance Incase the pair I have ever wear out and for some odd reason Bean decides to discontinue them. For example I loved their full zip sweatshirt and they quit carrying them. I may but a third pair of these shoes too just to put in the back of the closet for the future. I wear this shoe everywhere. To work with my LL Bean chinos or around the house with jeans or shorts, to the beach or fishing or boating. I also don't like to wear socks and they do not get smelly like sneakers do. I even spilled chicken grease on one of them and a day later you would never know. They are even more comfortable than my favorite pair of sneakers. You will never need another pair of shoes. Also, sometimes with other shoes if you don't wear socks the shoe might rub a part of your foot a certain way and make your foot hurt. There is not one spot in these shoes like that. Again, these are the BEST and MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I have ever owned.

These shoes are without a doubt the best shoes I have purchased in some time. I bought shoes from three retailers and found they were either too heavy or not very high quality. I should have known that rather purchase from the other guys that LL Bean always deals in high quality. Regards Gordon

Loved these shoes right out of the box. No need for breakin time. Very comfortable. The only minor item is I need to sinch the knot tight on these laces or they untie. For me i ordered a 1/2 size smaller than my typical sizing. Definitely recommend

These shoes were a perfect fit rite out of the box( 12WW) Extremely comfortable and I have worn them since the day they were delivered. I highly recommend them. May very well purchase the plain toe version as well.

Great Fit, broke in feel out of the box. I sometimes go onto our plant floor for inspections, its a very wet slippery surface and I have no problem with these. Clean look for the office but durable for plant walks.

Bought 9.5 Wide - Sometimes I have to go to a 10 or 10.5 to deal with one foot that is wider than the other, but these fit very well. They are very comfortable due to a little insulation and a soft rubber sole. I did swap the shoe laces out.

Comfortable shoe. Has the four eye tie design with the longer padded tongue that encases the foot. Rippled sole that does not track in like lug soles m.

I love these shoes. They are good with all manner of casual clothes. The fit is nearly perfect. I almost never have a problem with LL Bean shoes fitting.
