These are great. Comfortable, good-looking. Nice for work, casual attire, and easy hiking.

I am a women of 71. I love this shoe. Not real soft and not too firm. Firm enough to give me very good arch support which I need with a new ankle joint. I take a 9 1/2 narrow womens and bought an 8 med. It fit perfect, not real narrow so I have room to wriggle. Good walking sole and very comfortable. If available in another color I would buy a second pair. Love the sand color. For the price they are well made. I wear them for casual daily trips shopping and the like. Only negative I have is the shoe strings are UGLY! They don't even match the shoe at all. Way too long also. I don't know what they were thinking with orange work boot laces. Its a fun casual shoe. I bought my own laces that were 2 tone sand and they look like they came with the shoe. With different laces this is a great shoe and I would buy again. :-))

Will use these comfortable shoes for colder weather when other walking shoes would not be as appropriate.

Shoes made in Vietnam run a whole size larger than most footwear. I've purchased two pairs of shoes from you that were made in Vietnam and both were way too large. Now that I have a pair of Stonington shoes that fit, I think I will like them. Thank you for letting me return the first order. You customer service is the best.

This shoe is very well made and comfortable. My husband always has trouble finding shoes that are perfect right out of the box.

These shoes fit very comfortably, and are a very nice walking shoe! I would buy them again, plus the look with a pair of jeans goes really nice with these shoes!

I bought these online and so I did not have a chance to try them on first. They took over a month to arrive and I got them just before Christmas 2019. I typically wear a size 11 medium width shoe so that's what I ordered. Unfortunately, they were way too big both width and length and I had to return them. They were also on sale for 25% off so instead of paying $119, I got them for $89. Now, they are back up to $119 and back-ordered until March 2020! Bummer. I really want these shoes but am reconsidering unless I can get the same sale price.

These look good enough for casual office and keep feet out of the slush. Light and comfortable.

Shoes great but for the heavy boot style laces that won't say tied without double knots.

Style and comfort are great. However, size runs .5 too big-ordered from website. Store Exchanged without a problem!

The rubber traction around the outside has constantly been peeling off the sole of the shoe. I have glued it back numerous times on both shoes.

I've been wearing these shoes almost daily for a year and a half and they've held up nicely and remain comfortable. The construction at the toes could use a little more durability - they just don't hold their shape as they look in new condition. I realized that there is no toe box form in the shoes, so the toes of the shoes deform by foot shape and walking movement. The shoe leather has tended to stretch out as well. I once wore them comfortably but now need an insole to snug them up to original fit. Overall, a good shoe and stands up to wear.

Wonderful shoe, well made, good looking and a good value for the quality. The problem that I had was that the collar rubbed against my ankle.

Great shoe especially when a good insole is put in, which can easily be done since the insoles it comes with are removable. The shoe would be a five to me if it came with rawhide laces instead of the ugly orange woven round laces.

Fits well, took about a week to break in, now very comfortable and foot supporting, nice shoe.

Comfortable. Quality made. However...Bean has got to start offering some better Holiday deals. I load-up on shoes and other durables during Black Friday. I can find way better deals on similar quality brands elsewhere during that period. Some of those are even American made.

These shoes are very substantial and provide excellent foot protection. The inner soles are so comfortable I don't need my orthotics. They did take several day to break-in though. However, I do question the longevity of the two-piece outer sole because the wearing layer is quite thin. It is less than 1/4". Only time will tell on that. Otherwise I'd rate them 5 stars.

One lace was much longer than the other. I contacted LL Bean to ask for replacement laces. They said they don't have any. Their solution? They are sending me a new pair of shoes and I will return the others. My take-away? Poor quality control. Foolish that they can't just send me a new pair of shoelaces. Bad for the environment shipping and returning shoes. (And what will happen to the pair I return?) But at least they stand behind their product.

Well built as well as stylish shoe. The only problem is the shoelaces. The laces become loose during normal wear.

I have worn these shoes for work since late November (March now...) I love the look of the shoe. It's very comfortable and breaks in nicely. The downfall I have is with the laces. They never seem to stay tight...
