Sizing is correct and fits my 9 year old well. He likes the color. The construction seems to be of good quality.

Lightweight and warm! Exactly what we were looking for!

My grandson loved his jacket like this last year! He wore it every day. It's very warm, but not bulky. He asked for one with a hood this year.

This is the "go-to" three seasons jacket for my 5-year-old grandson and 7-year-old granddaughter. The weight and warmth is perfect for a quick walk to the park or play in the backyard. Also a good light layer for travel and car seats.

This jacket was much thinner and lighter weight than I expected. We bought this and two other children's jackets to donate over the holidays and in spite of it being a bit light, I still gave it to the organization to make available to families in need. Many kids, even though we live in Connecticut which can be very cold in winter, prefer a jacket that isn't bulky. I sure was very pretty.

A nice looking jacket that I hoped to use as an outer layer in the winter. It is pretty thin, so it will be more of a layering piece in the winter and outer layer in spring or fall. There are more affordable options for this type of jacket.

Light and warm. Provides warmth without the bulk. Can be worn in shoulder seasons rather easily! Very nice. We're going to see how it holds up on the slopes.

This was an expensive parka for an 11-year-old who will outgrow it quickly. I was willing to pay full price because LL Bean winter gear is normally such high quality and particularly good for active kids. Sadly, the jacket already ripped - we've only had it for 3 weeks. Not what I was expecting; a real disappointment.

We have had this for a few months. It's just ok. We bought these to replace a previous "packable" jackets that our kids outgrew. Those were slightly more substantial. I understand that primaloft can be warmer for less weight - but these are fairly insubstantial and look "deflated" compared to the product pictures on line. Overall they did OK - but definitely required our kids to layer a more protective shell over top of these and often wear a fleece underneath. And that's in moderately cold weather of 30 - 40 degrees. Additionally the nylon used on the outer layer is more flimsy than the previous model. One kiddo caught it on a bush next to the side walk (not one with thorns) and that was enough to produce a small hole - which I repaired with a nylon patch and some fabric glue. Not really the quality I expected - considering the price - and the previous model was superior.

Bought this for granddaughter...wore it this past weekend in central Virginia and she was complaining of being cold.. She was wearing a sweater and turtleneck underneath. Jacket is VERY thin. Would not recommend at all.

For the price tag, I had higher hopes for this jacket. Unfortunately it's going back as the paper thinness of the jacket doesn't merit the cost.

The coat is ok, but for being a children's coat the zipper opens from the bottom every time they sit down.

This jacket has no filling in it and is more like a spring wind breaker. Not what we were expecting.

Very poor quality and had to be returnedno where near what it was advertised asvery disappointed and this will affect my ordering in the future.
