The pop isn't horrible and it may be improving as they break in. These are no good for downpour rain running as your feet get wet and won't air out like the non-weather version would allow. So walk only.

Just don't walk in wet grass. I mean, just buy regular Lone Peaks. These don't keep your feet dry at all. Everything else is great though.

I bought these as a follow up to the standard Lone Peak because the Lone Peak sole lugs wore down in just a few months of light duty. Unfortunately, the lugs on this pair are wearing off at the same rate. I'm wearing them for a daily "driver" but took them to Sedona last month and discovered the grip on dry rock was lousy, as well. It's a shame because these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn but I can't keep replacing them every 4-5 months due to lousy rubber sole formulation.

I wore the shoe three times and it starting making loud noises. I thought it was going to come apart. Poor craftsmanship

I would wear nothing but this shoe except the upper material has a design flaw that causes it to first pinch and then tear. My first pair got holes in the upper from regular wear. I got them replaced on warranty. The second pair got the exact same holes in the exact same location. It's clearly an issue with the material of the upper and it makes the shoe fall apart long before it should.

Shoes fit fine. I've owned a pair of these LPs every winter for the past 5-7 years. They changed the waterproof membrane and now my feet are always sweaty or the membrane lets water in. TERRIBLE

Hurt my toes.

Serioulsy? No Gaiter Traps??? Just got these! Did a quick run through the slushy snow that fell today... Felt good and they did repel water (therefore, plus 2 stars for that)... But, seriously... No Gaiter Trap??? On a trail shoe??? The other version of the Lone Peak has them -- so why not on the AW2??? Could it be that my pair just defective and I simply need to exchange them??? It does have a seemingly useless strap on the back... But no Gaiter Trap -- on a trail shoe??? The picytures on the website conveniently skip a picure from behind... I honestly might return them simply for this one thing... Since I really appreciate gaiters, and they are missing on this model, I would not recommend these (Therefore, minus three stars for that)...

I need a much wider shoe.

I've had the opportunity to wear this shoe through the changing seasons. The shoe fits like I'd expect it to, but that's it. My advice, find another pair that can truly be an all weather shoe.

I bought these shoes for walking my dog no running at all. I managed to put 75 miles on them before the lugs on the heel were completely worn down. I expect wear but not this quickly.

Feels like putting a pair of Totes over my running shoes. They made a popping noise when I walkedas if I put a pair of Totes over a pair of running shoes. The only shoes they make that I buy are the GTX models.
