These are very cushy. I like the rounder toe box, hate when shoes squish your toes together, when you walk. This is my second pair, love them!! I rated it 4stars because, I usually wear dark shoes and these are light peachy orange color. Only color left, in my size.

I love Altra shoes because of the wide toe box and zero drop. I thought these would have more arch support than my Torin 7s, but they seem to have less, even at a fairly fast pace. They do seem to have more lateral stability, if that is all you need.

The shoe felt true to size and comfortable with a roomy toebox, but I felt that I didn't have as much of my ankle covered or supported as I would like, so I returned them.

I liked these when I first put them on, wore them around the house, then I tried again the next day and the heel on the right shoe was off. Felt very hard and uncomfortable. Had to return

Okay, Altra is known to have a nice wide toe box, this is pretty narrow, and my toes were very close to the end of the shoe. I am a true size 7.5, with a mildly wide forefoot. So, I am ordering a size 8, and we will see how they feel. I also ordered a different color, the deep purple is beautiful, but I didn’t like the lavender sole. Fingers crossed! Thanks Zappos!

These shoes fit perfectly! There was plenty of room in the toe box and the arch was perfect. The shoes just felt like it was a perfect envelope for my foot. They were so comfortable walking around the house.Then I took them out for my four mile walk. Before I got home, the inside of both of my heals hurt so bad and they were tender through the next day. Apparently they are not built for the way I walk. Expensive way to find out they do not fit my gait so will be looking for another pair and hope to have more luck. These will still work for walking around the house, but definitely not for a fast walk or a run.
