Great shoes - I needed a half-size larger this time as these are my second pair. The toe box was not as rounded as the last pair and may have contributed to the need to size up. The tread is great for slippery areas (I am often in wet places) and the Gore-Tex exterior helps keep my feet dry. They are comfortable, have support and felt great right out of the box.

Fits true to size: roomy toe box with a snug heel with generous cut outs for ankles. Comfortable stretchy upper, great traction, and surprisingly lightweight and breathable for a gore tex trail shoe. I sized up a half size as usual to fit my orthotics and wool socks. Small criticism for style: shoe is a nice neutral gray except for the distracting hot pink accents. I wish there were an all black option or a range of colors as in other models. I prefer the fit and grey-black-gold styling of my summer Endorphin but that model doesn't come in gore tex.

This was my first Saucony shoe. Changed over due to foot injury in an effort to run in better shoes? I also purchased the Endorphin Edge for trail. Both shoes run 1/2 size too small. I've never had to size up before. The Peregrine 13 GTX is great. However, there is little breathability. Great when super cold Temps, but feet will sweat a bit. So, I recently purchased the regular Peregrine 13 for warmer days. Very comfortable and stable trail running shoe and even on gravel roads. There is plenty of toe room for my average feet. The heel feels locked in. I am not having any rubbing issues that might cause blisters. Im happy with the feel during running. Great cushioning/support for my heeling metatarsal. I invested in Kinvara for street running, and it was also half size up. Looks like I will have to half size up for all Saucony shoes. Hope this helps and limits returns for others.

The shoes fit fine, this is my third pair of Peregrine GTX shoes, which I use for walking and hiking. Sadly, Saucony changed the style in the Peregrine 13 GTX enough that it does not seem to be as durable as my previous pairs. I was able to find the Peregrine 12 GTX which are more what I’m looking for to replace my old worn pair.

I've been running in the Peregrine for years and think they're great shoes- good lugs, not too wide, just the right amount of cushion and drop. The gtx adds waterproofing which is super helpful in wet grass and shallow stream crossings. These run a tad smaller but that was okay as I'm between sizes and it didn't matter for me.

I bought this shoe for hiking and gardening. The shoes are very comfortable, flexible, light weight and provide good support. They replace a hiking shoe from a much higher priced brand that was heavy and so stiff that I felt off balance at times. There are perfect.

Definitely order 1/2 larger! Otherwise, good shoe, up to the usual Saucony standards.

Finally! After trying on approximately 20 pairs of shoes I have finally found a pair that isn't too wide and doesn't make my ankle slip. I have narrow feet and normally take a 7.5, but I had the foresight to order both a 7.5 and an 8, and the 8 fit perfectly. I've been searching high and low but every pair I tried on was too wide. I've had Saucony shoes before and knew that they tend to run narrow and have a wide toe box and a narrow heel, which is just what I was looking for, as well as waterproof, which is vital here in the Pacific Northwest!

This is my favorite trail running shoe. The GTX lets me run in the snow, rain, and cross creeks with dry feet. I run year round in the peregrine but need the GTX during winter times. Shoe keep my foot from blisters and has a great toe box.

It's a finely made product, but I just need more cushioning.

I needed shoes that I could wear to walk outside in the winter months and that had support for my feet as I have plantar facistis. These shoes are very comfortable, have a lot of cushion, and keep my feet warm when I exercise (walk) outside in cold weather!! I usually take a 5 or 5.5 in a walking shoe, but these run a little small, so a size 6 fit best. This pair had more cushion than a pair on OnCloud waterproof running shoes that I tried on. I wish they came in a different color in my size (I only had the option of grey), but overall very happy with the purchase.

I already had two pair of Saucon in a size 8,5. The saucony Peregrine 13 gtx runs smaller. I should have ordered 1/2 size bigger than usual.

I ordered these in an attempt to replace the Montrail Mountain Masochist trail shoes I've been using for many years but have been discontinued.
My Saucony running shoes fit perfectly in size 7- roomy enough in the toe yet stays on the heal.
Unfortunately, with these, the 7 was tight so I sent them back and exchanged for. 7.5...still too tight so I sent those back and ordered an 8. These look and feel great however the heel does slip. I will be on the Camino for two weeks and I know that I will end up with blisters from the slipping. I will have to send these back as well.
Ordering on line is a terrible way to buy shoes. It's been weeks now and I still don't have shoes.
The question asked is would I recommend these shoes to a friend. I will answer yes because they are comfortable but I have an unusually narrow heal and almost nothing fits properly.

had i tried them on in the store I probably would not have bought them. Too much rubber, very stiff, heel drop is more than used to, feel a bit clumsy. Good grip on slick terrrain. Feet got damp in the snow. would return them, just a pain to do that when you purchase on line due to the shipping fees etc.. in future will stick to tried and true models, and only purchase new ventures once I have review them at a store first to make sure they will be a fav.

Seemed like a great shoe (though the flash of pink is unnecessary) but the toe box was way too narrow and I don't have wide feet. I sized up due to other reviews but that didn't help. Had to return.

Unfortunately these caused quite a bit of heel rubbing for me resulting in big blisters. I've always been the same size through many pairs of sauconys, so I don't know if these just run small or fit differently, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to use them for hiking as intended.

I have the Peregrine 11 GTX in a women's size 12 and it fits great. I've also worn the Saucony Omni for years in a women's size 12. This gray and pink Peregrine 13 GTX in a women's size 12 was so small my toes were crushed up against the front. I even double checked the size because they felt like 10s even smaller than 11s and definitely not 12s. What's up with the sizing? I really need some new GTX shoes!

This is a super uncomfortable shoes. Every part of this shoe is plastic. Your feet do not breathe. Please go back to making shoes without plastic bodies and use cloth.
