I love this shoe for my running. I was fitted for this shoe some years back. Only issue I had with this purchase is a dirt stripe on one of the shoes. No big deal but weird.

I got these shoes because I like something that I can hit the ground running every day. I feel like they could be unisex, as the color could be worn by men and women, and they are bright. They are comfortable enough for daily use, or as running shoes. They have a nice push off and smooth heel strike so they feel good from toe to heel. I wear a 9-9.5 in womens and the shoes I got are 8 in mens. They fit comfortably without being too tight, even on my wide feet. Even if used for running, they feel great! They arent heavy on the feet & make for a smooth run, and a pair of shoes I would buy again.

I am an avid runner and run 4 times a week. I currently have a pair of Ultraboosts and Hokas. Ive never had a pair of Sauconys and decided to give the Ride 16s a go. They are very comfortable, light weight and provide me with very good stability (especially compared to my Hokas). Overall I really like these shoes and have added them to my shoe rotation.

Hey there fellow runners! I recently got my hands (or rather, my feet) on the Ride 16 shoes, and let me tell you, they are absolutely incredible! These shoes have blown me away with their outstanding performance and unmatched comfort, making my runs an absolute pleasure.
First things first, let's talk about the cushioning. The Ride 16 offers the perfect balance of responsiveness and impact absorption. It feels like I'm running on clouds, with each step feeling cushioned and supported. Whether I'm conquering long distances or picking up the pace, these shoes keep my feet feeling happy and energetic, without any signs of fatigue.
Now, let's dive into the fit. The Ride 16 is like a glove for my feet, in the best possible way. The upper and lacing system work together seamlessly to provide a snug yet comfortable fit. The engineered mesh upper keeps my feet cool and allows them to move naturally. And guess what? There's plenty of room for my toes to wiggle and splay, ensuring a more natural and unrestricted running experience.
But wait, there's more! The traction on these shoes is simply outstanding. No matter the surface - be it roads or trails - the Ride 16 delivers top-notch grip and stability. I feel confident and secure with each stride, even in tricky conditions like rain or slippery terrain. Plus, the outsole is impressively durable, showing minimal signs of wear after numerous runs.
All in all, I can't recommend the Ride 16 shoes enough. They are the real deal when it comes to running shoes, ticking all the boxes for performance, comfort, fit, and traction. Whether you're a casual jogger or a seasoned runner, these shoes will elevate your running experience to new heights. Trust me, you won't want to hit the road without them!

So far, pretty pleased with the shoes. The did make a sore on top of my foot the first time I wore them all day. But it quickly went away.

A comfortable fit andd I would recommend this shoe. However, on Saturday, I stepped on a piece of glass that came through, and punctured my heel. I wish the sole of the shoe were a bit more durable to prevent this type of infrequent accident. I did not require stitches. I love the shoe, and only this feature concerns me.

Im 66, living a dream of jogging/walking regularly again; about 50 minutes a day. After returning several pairs of running shoes (New Balance, Adidas, Brooks) the Ride 16 is a keeper. Perfect for me. Fits like a glove. Heal drop at 8mm, not too much cushion but just right. Id highly recommend these to anyone but, particularly for beginners and walkers. These shoes make me want to run.

I bought the Ride 16s after my Triumph 19s were finally done. The Ride 16s were ok, but they didn't feel as good or as comfortable as the Triumph 19s. I would not buy the Ride model again.

Very comfortable, true to size. However after a month of daily wear (lots of walking on even surfaces), there's already a hole in the toe mesh.

The liner irritates my left heel. Bone spur. Any suggestions?

This is a pretty comfortable well-built shoe (especially on sale); however, Saucony, like many other shoe brands, seems to be getting away from making running shoes with a good outsole. I have an older model of the Omni's that have a solid outsole with pretty good grip. The Ride's, like other Saucony models, seem to have more exposed midsole than outsole on the bottom. Some models are better than others, but if you look at pictures of the Ride 14 compared to every model after, you can see that the 14's have a good, "normal" outsole. It's a shame that so many brands are changing their outsoles to appeal to just runners who only run on smooth, dry surfaces. There are those of us who like a good, quality running shoe to wear as an every day shoe in just about every weather condition. I wore the Omni's year round since they did well in rain and light snow, slush. While the Ride 16's are comfortable, I can't imagine them as my every day shoe unless the weather is nice out (or at least not raining or snowing) and I am not walking through wet grass or much more than very light off-road. Like I said, this is more than a Saucony issue, but since the shoe brand I have bought the most often the past ten years has been Saucony, I thought I would express my opinion.

Returned these, they were too big and spongy, had a pair like this and twist ankle too much- - hoka's- can't wear these either, left a tingle feeling while walking in feet, like it had a cheap insole, still like old saucouny freedom 2 shoes, made in Indonesia- don't make anymor

Since I need a wide due to orthotics, I purchased the Ride 16 (Wide) which I believed were the replacement for the Ride 14 (Wide) which I loved. Not the same. They definitely feel that they are not as well made and the width is not as comfortable as the 14. Would not buy them again. I also bought the Cohesion TR16 (Wide) at the same time for walking and fell in love with them. Perfect fit. So perfect, I purchased a 2nd pair in case I run into the same problem I did with the Ride 16 when I need a replacement. I also do not understand why the company ends a product and doesn't mention that the new product is a replacement for the older version. It would make things so much easier when you are looking for replacements for older footwear.

I got the Ride 16 for treadmill running. I have about 120 miles on it so far but not a huge fan of this one for 2 reasons. The mid-foam is too soft for me and not too responsive. I'm 5' 9" and 150 lbs. for reference. Another beef I have is with both of the 2 Saucony shoes I've ever owned. Both of them, the outsole rubber peels off. I couldn't believe this shoe started to peel off in my second run. I've been gluing it down 4 times so far. At least with the Guide 15, it was after 300 miles and it was just once. I never came across rubber peeling off with other brands in my rotation, Asics, Adidas, and Nike. This might be my last Saucony.

My middle schooler has been wearing these since June. He did two running camps and started official XC practice this week. The rubber on the sole peeled off in one spot so my husband gorilla glued the strip back on. Today I noticed on the other shoe, three other rubber pieces are peeling off. My husband can glue them again but for the low mileage of a middle schooler I wouldn't expect this to be an issue. He does like the comfort of these but I can't pay this much if they won't last a season.

I purchased my pair almost a month ago. It is a comfortable shoe to run in no doubt, but forget wearing this shoe if there is any moisture on the ground whatsoever. The design of the front of the shoe causes any water that collects on the outsole/bottom to be flicked onto the toebox in your natural stride. Your foot gets soaked very quickly. This annoyance was what kept this from being a five star review.

The shoes look great but are very poor quality. The tread on the bottom unstick 3 times for me in less than a month! Do not recommend! It's really sad since I already have 2 other Saucony shoes and are great. This has made me rethink of a different brand for my next shoes.

Seems a quality product, however, I purchased the wrong size, which is unfortunate. I'm a fan of the brand & will return this pair & I have ordered the correct size.

I bought these a month ago to replace my hurricanes. I predominantly walk outdoors on a paved trail. These don't seem to have very good traction due to foam bottom and minimal rubber sole.
I don't think they're gonna wear very well since they're already showing quite a bit of it.
I will buy Saucony again as I do believe they are very good quality shoes. I just wouldn't recommend the specific ones.
