My son runs XC and likes the Ride 16, but the sole fell apart. First pair purchased at the end of May and by August whole sections of the traction strips were gone. Bought another pair to try to make it through the season and after running in them three times, one strip was already missing. Definitely a defect in the materials that Saucony needs to fix.

Very cushy, like walking on straight foam. The sole of the heel is hollow for some reason and you can feel your heel sinking into that hole as you walk. Not necessarily a bad thing, but very strange. Over comfortable, good fit, stylish. One downside is the horrible squeaking issue--not like wet squeaking, but the kind you gear on a basketball court. If you scuff these shoes too hard into the floor, it is LOUD.

I use these as my every-day shoes. They are very comfortable.
I like the double black color of these shoes. They look nice enough to wear to any event that doesn't call for formalwear.

I've been wearing the Ride for years but recently needed to switch to the wide version. It is still the Ridegood shoe! The wide is working well for me.

I got it gifted to me by a sibling and even though I didn't like running at that time now I am in love with the sport because it is truly amazing what this shoe does to you. I have a diagnosis in both my heels and that is what was keeping me from running but now this shoe has amazing heel support which helps me reach my goals even further.

This shoe was bought for running longer distances. It is a supportive shoe. There is no ankle, knee, or hip pain after running in these shoes.

Got these for Christmas to replace my Ride 15's. My first run in them was a 22 min 5K and they felt amazing. I didn't realize how worn my Ride 15's were. Since then I have ran a half, a 9 miler and 5ks a plenty in them and my calves and feet feel great after my runs.
