I actually really like these shoes. Had the previous version and really wanted the 4mm offset and light weight that these shoes had. The new version had both. Ran about 5 miles at about a 7:30/mile pace ish and like them. FWIW: orange color was the same as the picture. Bottom line: worked great for me! 5 stars.

I love the comfort of this shoe. Really had high hopes after an after two weeks of wear for gym use. However, the build quality is lacking for a shoe in this price range. The bottom black tread began coming off on both shoes. Really disappointed, wanted to like this shoe.

Very comfortable for walking, and use in the gym. The sole has just the right amount of bounce.

Bought on sale on a whim for Murph. Midsole is firmer than most modern running shoe compounds but still very adequate. Really enjoyed the shoe for mileage thus far and calisthenic type workouts thus far.

Great fit and comfort. The PWRun PB is propulsive and stable.

Best cross sport shoes Saucony has ever made to date. Unique in the sense that this is a legit running shoes that can be used to lift. Can use a firmer heel but this is what really works for both worlds. P.S. I don't mind 1mm more rubber.

The fabric is a little bit glossier than the pictures on the website. I don't care about that, but some people might. The tread is a lot sturdier than the pair I'm replacing (Kinvara 13). I expect these will last a lot longer. As usual with Saucony running shoes, the comfort is peerless. No notes.

Bought these specifically for pickleball and they are great! Excellent support, light, good traction, and very comfortable.

This shoe seems pretty good based on the product description. I had the prior Freedoms and they were more of a runner, whereas is more of a gym shoe. I wear them for gym use, short runs, and basketball with the kids. They're solid for those purposes. While different from the prior Freedoms, these are probably still the closest thing. There are limited options in the Saucony lineup for those of us who want a 4mm or less drop shoe.

I bought these for playing pickleball. They are comfortable, light and my feet do not hurt after a 2 hour rigorous session of playing . I'm not sure if these are the best shoes for side to side as well as back and forth motion but so far the support seems to be working. If you are just running these will fit the bill for sure

Please remake or bring back the Freedom 5's!!!! Loved those shoes, but these seem to have major issues.

Find the shoe very stiff and narrow comparing to the Freedoms. I wish the normal Freedoms would be available.

Not like previous Freedom shoes at all. The sole is hard and not forgiving. They shouldn't have used the name Freedom in it at all since they were trying to go for more of a CrossFit style shoe

The shoes are too narrow on the sides. I have to keep the shoelaces very loose.

I've been a Freedom wearer for a number of years. This is a totally different shoe and it is deceiving to use the Freedom name. I wore them twice and have already put them in the donate pile.

Wow, you folks totally went the wrong direction with this version. I loved my v5's and before, they were a pretty good crossfit/multi purpose shoe but this new one is terrible.

I was a massive fan of the Freedom line before the change in direction. Great neutral shoe that didn't have aggressive arch support. The new design is the complete opposite. There is no longer a smooth transition while running and walking. It's like running on bricks. The arch now protrudes into the side of your foot, causing discomfort. The construction quality of the side has also declined. It seems the side foam is painted on top, and as you grab the shoe, it pulls away, showing the white underneath the paint.
