Overall a great shoe, very close to classic racing flats that peaked about a decade ago. Will keep buying more of this model as it is one of a kind at the moment and what I'm looking for as I can't use the high stack squishy shoes being made now as they are too unstable (this holds for carbon fiber racing shoes as well).
I was surprised how firm the midsole material felt at first. After about 50 miles it broke in and feels wonderful. I really appreciate it not being a squishy, unstable marshmallow. It is lightweight and great for fast running (5k to marathon for me).
Durability is excellent, I have over 400 miles on them and no signs of wear or breakdown to make me swap into a new pair yet.
Fit: narrow at toes, curves in hard at 4th/5th toes, so had to size up half size then fit ok. They would fit true to size otherwise (half size is too long, but I value my toes). This last shape is typical of Saucony racing shoes, this last feels very much like the Kilkenny xc spikes did a decade ago (haven't tried since, but think they're the same now) to give idea of last shape.
Heel counter: molds around heel bone and has a thin bit of plastic tab in back. Both not good as the achilles tendon is right there. Straight heel back that doesn't go up too far on achilles is best. The little tab, thankfully not full plastic heel counter, isn't doing anything and can irritate insertion of achilles if person is sensitive, could do without this, just having the fabric would be best.
Heel-toe difference: 3-4 mm would be ideal (rather than 6mm) and a heel height closer to 20 to 22mm would be better than 25mm, which is still higher than I'd like. The new pebax material really does provide great protection from road even as a thin layer (Reebok nailed it with the float ride pro a couple years back in terms of design).

Lightweight shoe, very open/minimal material. I'm a heavyweight and my feet felt fine after a half-marathon in near-new condition. The shoe feels about a half-size small compared to my earlier Kinvaras, but no toe problems so far. Insole feels narrow, I imagine to keep the weight down, not for those needing stability. A nice shoe for racing and wet conditions.

Extremely comfortable, breathable and responsive. I'm 6-2 &150 lbs and have been able to run 15+ miles comfortably. The outsole is durable and grips well on a variety of surface.
My only complaint is that the uppers have tears in the same spots in both shoes.

So far I have 100 kilometers in these shoes. I love them. These shoes remind me of the racing shoes from ten years ago just before all the hype of the carbon plated, super built up shoes of today. The full tread underneath gives a very even ride. There is plenty of cushioning and spring in the toe-off to make me feel fast. I will say that I was worried the fit might be to tight at first. But after a breaking in period it seems that the shoe is just the right fit. I am eager to see how he uppers last through the next 100k. So far so good. My longest run is 14 miles in these. No blisters or discomfort of any kind.

Stylish and ultra comfortable. The best balance of light weight and support that I've owned to date.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like these shoes. My last 5 pairs of running shoes that I purchased were Triumph 19s and 20s. I bought these because I thought they were the coolest shoes I have seen in a while. When they were delivered I still wasn't sure if I would like them for running. I went out and did a quick 5 miles in them today and I loved them. I will probably stick with the Triumphs for my longer runs and races. But these are great for a 5 or 10K.

I loved this shoe the minute I laced it up. Fits like a glove. Cushioned but with less stack than a lot of other shoes. It's so light that when you're putting the paces down you don't even notice it. I wear it for all my tempo workouts now.

These shoes are very light weight, with very little structure. I use them for an everyday shoe, many might think they're more of a racer. I love the feel, and had no issues transitioning to the shoe. I'll be anxious to see how they hold up as the materials are soft and thin, which makes for a fast ride...hopefully they'll take the miles.

This was my first Saucony purchase ever if not in over 40 years. I am quite pleased with the shoe. It's super light and very comfortable. They're bright. They'll see you coming.

These feel like racing flats but with some cushion. Super light, real feel for the ground. Great for track workouts! Low stack height so you don't have to worry about rolling an ankle on the turns. Great addition to any rotation

In terms speed probably not the fastest shoe available but i love how they feel and really enjoy the ride, especially for track workouts. Hope its track legal, would be the best spikeless option for 5-10k races right now.

Look great for the first couple of weeks. The foam bottom has some type of coating for the orange color and is peeling within a month. They are super light.

I purchased the shoes about a month ago and really liked them and unfortunately they were extremely tight.
Use them basically for my speed work on the track, not to be.
Had to return them.

Great lightweight running shoe. I have been running since 1969 with the exception of maybe 4 years and most of those years I have been a nike fan. For years I was a Nike lunaracer fan. However, nike's bulky lightweight racers have turned me off and led me to saucony. The sinister is nice for 5 k and Street training. Note , I have a narrow foot . It may not work for runners with wide feet. I alternate between the sinister and the convergence. Sorry nike but saucony had my business!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Slipper-like fit that's quite narrow and low volume, especially through the mid-foot, and I have a hard time finding running shoes that are narrow enough. Length was true to size, maybe felt a little long given how narrow the width was. Excellent heel hold. Midsole durometer & thickness felt right on for my 160 lb body weight.
I was searching for a daily training shoe that's completely devoid of stability features but this shoe was designed properly for what they intended: track workouts, fast days, etc. A version with a little more volume, cushion, and (I assume) tread life and I'd have my perfect shoe.

Only had for a couple of months with not that much frequency wearing them and already have a hole on the side. Not good material.
