These shoes are everything I expected them to be. They are comfortable, light and protective. Breathability and dry time are exceptional. The only down side is they are more difficult to get on my foot than other runners I've owned. This does, however ,help prevent trail debris from getting into my shoe. They are also very narrow! I have a narrow foot and these are borderline for me. Overall, I am happy. I've put many miles on them and they seem to be standing up quite well. I'd buy them again.

Fits great! Love these shoes! I've worn Salomon since my military days and I love them. Figured I see if these were as good or better. Definitely as good, but not necessarily better. Don't regret the purchase.
I'd also recommend:

I bought these shoes because I wanted something I could wear on the plane, go to the gym with, and head out on a trail. These shoes were the closest I could find. They're super light. I was surprised how well they fit my wide foot. I've been able to keep them clean with some hotel sink spot cleaning and shoe wipes. Most of the trails I've been on so far have been pretty casual. The vibrum soles have been awesome on we rocks. They've been good in the gym but obviously Sub optimal for lifting.

High quality and very sleek looking. I love how light they feel and they just hug my feet. The only problem is I bought the white pair and I feel bad when they get dirty. Would recommend to anyone who is on the fence about buying them.

Incredibly lightweight, this is the perfect shoe for more technical running / scrambling. Fairly supportive and surprisingly good cushioning for how weightless the shoe is.

The SL 1s were painful to put on at first even though they were the right size. They stretched out over time to be comfortable but it was a rough beginning with them for me. The new SL 3s were very comfortable from my first steps through my many miles I've put on them. Great air conditioning (breathability), great Vibram sole, and I like the knit collar to keep the rocks and sticks out. These SL 3s and my Vertex shoes are my favorite Arc'teryx shoes of the ~ 10 pair that I've had.

Incredibly comfortable and light, ideal for summer trails running, hiking and even occasional city sightseeing. No blisters, fit like a glove, literally, and breathable for warm weather runs. Love them.

We have spent years going through options for light quick drying shoes for taking on the west coast trail. These are perfect. Light, dry exceptionally fast, grippy sole

Great shoe but I thought the Atmos/Pilot was dark green turns out they're grey. Good looking colour anyway and super comfortable so I'm keeping them. Sizes runs a bit small if you have a wide foot. I'm usually size 38 but 38 2/3 fits better as they're kind of narrow.

The SL 3 is a real glow up from my old SL 1 shoes. Arc'teryx iterated on the design in all the right ways. Fit it a bit loose for the size but that's easily fixed by wearing thicker socks. The upper is study and breathable, the redesigned tongue and loop on the ankle are welcomed changes. I absolutely love the sock-like fit around the ankle and tongue; it reminds me of my LaSportiva Kaptiva shoes. If Arc'teryx made this compression section of the show even stronger, I'd totally be down - anything to make the shoe feel more snug on the foot is a win to me. The laces are super thin (in a good way) and tuck away into a little pocket on the tongue, which I adore. It gives me higher confidence on the trail knowing I can run extra hard and not worry about my laces coming undone or getting snagged on foliage. Ultimately, this is a fantastic shoe and I cannot recommend it enough. It gets me excited to see what the SL 4 and 5 will look like down the road.

These are great shoes. They fir from day one, felt like feathers on my feet while giving me good stability and traction. The only issue I have after around 80 miles on them is that the back vibram sole is thinning quickly. I would recommend a solid band of vibram at the very end of the sole to provide more rubber to be wearing off, and I would not space it in square profiles but keep it solid.
