Did not need the draw strings so I cut them off. The one thing I really liked was that I could button the shirts with a full cast on my left arm. Would have liked a pocket on the left leg.

There is no room for improvement. I took one star off of the appearance category because almost all shorts look unattractive on men.

I really like these except the rear pockets are way too big. My wallet feels like it has been dropped into a cavern. The previous version of these had a much smaller pockets that allowed my wallet to stay firmly in place. Other than that, these are really nice. I like the stretch aspect as I'm not getting any smaller...:)

Great shorts. But front right phone pocket could be deeper. phone sticks out while seated. Gets in the way when putting on driver's seat belt.

Is Carhart shorts fit the short legged man. Can't handle those 11 inch inseam.

Love these as everyday shorts. Very comfortable with the drawstring and stretchy waistband. I'm hoping they come out with more colors!

While these are ok, I would really like these in a tan/ khaki color. I also would have preferred the previous style short that was discontinued.

Initially, I found that there were features that I like, including good workmanship. Generally, I avoid when purchasing clothing with stretch waists and draw strings which are included in these shorts. I removed the draw strings on the first day. I will have to live with the elastic. Size and proportions are good, as I sought an 8" inseam, phone pocket, etc. A previous offering from Carhartt, if I remember correctly, was of a slightly heavier weight material. As a work short, I am wary of early failure. We'll see how the pockets hold up, too. The jury is still out on this product.

Nice fit.. soft feel and light weight fabric..love the draw string on waist.. cell phone I phone 14 fits perfectly in pocket on lower right pocket.. overall I'm buying more of these!

Khaki color is more like a yellow/brown mustard. Also, bottom of leg outlet has too large flair diameter, more vulnerable to snagging on things.

Rugged and roomy. These work shorts will last for years. You'll pay a little more, but get great value in the end. Carhartt continues to make the toughest work clothes available.

Really like the length. Doesn't feel like I'm wearing knee length pants. Only wish they came in other colors.
