Extremely narrow, advertised as W but are medium width at best. Wide means 4E, not 2E, totally false advertising, especially when you have to buy online.

I first starting wearing Timberland 2-eye boat shoes in the 1980s. They were an excellent shoe then. I recently purchased the 21st century version of the same shoe. Reluctantly, I cannot recommend this shoe because the shoe's interior space doesn't compare favorably with its exterior. My complaint is that the shoe's interior lining for the soles of the feet is not a full lining. It looks and feels cheap. This lining is glued in and started peeling the after I wore the shoes twice. It's a mystery to me why Timberland would do a good job on this shoe's exterior but resort to chicanery on the inside of the shoe. Timberland: you can, and should, do better than this.

This is a nice and comfortable shoe but poor quality. After 2 times of wearing the shoes, the material stretched and looked worn as if I had them for a long time

Didn't know heel depth was a thing. My original Timberland deck shoes measured 2 7/8" in the heel, these new ones measure 2 1/4". Big difference.

Very uncomfortable, especially the sole. Very little cushion in the insole.

the shoes were way too narrow. I have a pair of your shoes (11 M, model 5230R 9598) the sole width is 3/8 of an inch wider than the 11 W shoes that were gifted to me. How could an 11M shoe be wider than an 11W shoe? I was very disapointed and will be sending them back. Sorry

This purchase isn't what I was looking for. I wanted to purchase your 3 eye, lug soled shoe that you have so grossly PIMPED into a heeled and platform monstrosity. I look forward to purchasing two pair of the 3 eye in 10W when sanity returns.
Good day.

First time if bought timberland shoes that were either incorrectly sized or cut to small, they were suppose to be wide. Doubt they would be anything past narrow!

I bought these for my boyfriend's birthday. The shoes came and were too big, so I went to the website and was advised that a "generic" shipping label (it does not save anywhere and it does NOT link to your account) can be generated. Nothing needs to even be bought, I could literally generate a hundred of them right now. So I did this and sent them back. I never got confirmation of the return, so after about 3 weeks I called and used their chat and was advised they were not received and that even if they were, they weren't linked to my account so they would be in some "unmarked" pile. No where did it advise that I needed to somehow mark these. Months went by. I was accused by customer service of lying of even returning them, while they simultaneously and repeatedly advised me that their warehouse was "about two weeks" behind on returns because they had closed for some undetermined amount of time. Timberland made sure I was charged TWICE (I had ordered the correct size as I was advised that they don't do exchanges) for these shoes. The customer service was atrocious and I've never felt so accused publicly in my life. It's safe to say I'll never be shopping with this company again. They've lost a loyal customer who would never dream of doing something so low as what was insinuated. Companies with integrity who are loyal to their customers would have recognized that they were ADMITTEDLY disorganized and given the customer the courtesy credit. Also, being that I used a label from THEIR WEBSITE, it certainly couldn't have gotten delivered elsewhere. Easily the worst experience I've had with a major retailer and I'll be posting this review everywhere.

The leather in the shoes is so stiff they hurt my husbands feet. This is the first pair of timberland boat shoes he has bought, so he wet them down and wore them in the house to stretch them to his feet. That didn't work so we returned them. They were returned to us as "worn so no refund". Satisfaction obviously not guaranteed. Buyer beware.

Disappointed that the two-piece rubber material sole separated. Glue would not hold the sole together.

I ordered the shoe anticipating a navy shoe. Upon arrival it was more green than navy, and a size to small. I was advised by the customer service rep to go a size down. Nevertheless I returned the shoes.
