These shoes are perfect for my needs and are my 10th pairI slip into them, secure them with the Velcro ankle strap, and can walk a mile in them as if floating on air! These shoes are so much fun! I already had the black pair and the white pair. I bought an orange/tan ones for a pop of color and they don't disappoint.

I have about 10 pairs of sandals probably in every color they made. I wear them all the time, to my work on Sundays, even two a 3 months vacation in Europe, I walk all the time there up and down those cabled stones streets and I never got a blister or my feet Hurt in pain! I bought these shoes because I had to work a 3-day conference and I was looking for something comfortable and stylish. They delivered! I received several compliments on them and will be wearing them to work often.

I had a bad fall last year and hurt my left ankle which never healed completely. I need to wear a slip on shoe that gives me support yet still hugs my feet with a secure closure! I also need a thick cushioned sole to allow me freedom of movement without feeling the ground beneath my feet! All the Sorel Sandal designs I purchased, share the same closure design with leather ankle strap that actually holds the foot in place and allows ease of movement! I have a AAA heel and most shoes are too wide in the heel for me; causing the shoe to rub up and down while producing blisters! Not these, as aside from the heel strap protective cushioning..The leather heel strap coincides with the ankle strap as both work together to hold the foot in place producing a safe, supportive and comfortable walking experience that most 2 1/4"sandals don't! The special designed Sorel sole cushions the feet against the impact on the sidewalk and hard surfaces; making the wearer feel as if they are floating on air! My orthopedic doctor approves these shoes for me! The style is a classic that can be worn from one year to another Day and night; with pants, shorts, skirts and dressesfor work, sport, and most occasions! Sorel combines fantastic color combinations making the same functionality and style look totally different with colors that can match your every outfit in a designer palette as unique as nature's rainbow! I fell in love with both, the sling back heel and the high "Y" sandal; That I now own 9 pairs total! I am dying to get the multi colored, tortoise trim orange "Y" sandal but my pocketbook won't allow me to do so for some time! I know that my size sells out first as most women wear size 8.5! Maybe I will get the pair I want for my upcoming birthday? I can assure you that I never before bought so many or even 2same style shoes from any other manufacturerbut these Sorel shoes are a perfect fit for my feet and my needs, that when I wear a shoe that makes me smile and want to dance it's a sound investment in true comfort and high style plusI know that I must be doing something right; stepping to the beat that will never meet D'Feet!
