These are comfy. I like the loop in the back to help put them on. And they look super cute!

I am a go to Asics buyer when it comes to sneakers. I loved the Gel Contend 6 which fit my foot well with lots of support and cushion. But because I walk 6-7 miles a day outside the Gel Contend 6 did not hold up. I decided to try the Gel-Venture 9 do to it having more tread on the bottom. In the first week of wearing them on my 6-7 mile quest I found that they were not as cushioned as the Gel Contend 6 and actually was causing my shins to hurt and my feet to ache. I have inflammatory arthritis in my right knee so this definitely did not help in that department either. I noticed if I lace and tie them loosely they are more bearable. Unfortunately, I could not not return them do to wearing them outside. I guess I have track down my old lovable Gel Contend 6, as I don't think they make that version anymore, and just replace once the tread starts to go. But I can say that if you are not intending on wearing these shoes for a consistent walking stretch such as I do then they will probably do the job as a daily shoe (i.e. running errands, short walks, etc.)

I am happy with them for the most part, but they do t quite give me the room I need for my hammer toe. If they could give just a little more room in the thickness of the toe area they would be perfect!

I have a high arch foot, narrow heel, narrow mid foot and normal width at toes. The Venture 9 is heavier and much wider than the Venture 7 or Venture 8. I won't be able to use it to do trail running, hiking or daily dog walking. If you have standard/ wider feet, this would work for you. The sole feels more cushioned than the Venture 7 and 8.

The size was actually correct, I think, but the GEL-Venture shape has changed since the 8 version. I've tried both 9 and 10 in my usual size and they feel a tiny bit short - though I think that relates to the shape and padding of the heel cup - but way wider. The shape of the toe box is different also. I used to love these shoes but the newer versions just don't fit correctly for me. I've had to send them right back.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are true to size and very comfortable.

Love the comfort of these shoes and work place compliant with the color. Otherwise have to get dr note to wear sneakers at work. Would definitely recommend. All my life had to wear 1 size up, with these, I can actually wear my size.

I love these shoes so much! This is my second pair after I wore out my first pair with LOTS of walking. They require little to no break-in. I hope they keep making this style!

Super comfortable. My child loves it. Balances his feet.

These shoes are comfortable and supportive but a little stiff for my taste. They feel well made and I think theyll hold up well but probably wont be the first shoes I pull out the closet when its time for a walk.
