So far so good. My 11 year old had the "kid" version of this last year, but has grown into a women's size. She reports that they feel great and she loves the gel insoles. The kid version held up well and she wore them for a solid year for most of her daily shoe needs. Hoping these hold up just as well!

I really like this shoe! It is the first time I have tried Asics.

Out of the box and on the trail! Good support and fit. My favorite brand.

This is my second pair and I love them for long distance walking. Super comfortable and durable.

The Gel Venture previous versions had two eyelets at the ankle to allow for heel lock lacing. I’ve worn this model of shoe for many years. This newest version only has one eyelet at the ankle. It also seems cheaply made by comparison. Get the 8 if you can find it!

I typically purchase new running shoes every 6 months so I’m not too picky about aesthetics and more concerned with comfort, support and price. This shoe does well with those parameters but I needed 1/2 size smaller. I typically wear a 7 in ASICS but could have used a 6 1/2.

This is my second pair and I love the way they fit me. They are so comfortable.

I have a lot of trouble with my feet and it’s hard to find comfortable shoes. I particularly need a nice padded cushion for the instep (insole). These shoes have been wonderful and allow me to walk around a lot without feet hurting. I’m buying my third pair!

I am very hard to fit and these shoes are THE BEST. I FINALLY found shoes where my heel doesn't slip at all, and my toes and arches are very happy. Perfect shoes. They look super cool, too. Am buying a second pair of these!

Love love love these Asics sneakers! They are very lightweight, are true to size, and are very comfortable from the first time wearing them. I wore them for the first time on a day trip and did quite a bit of walking around. No issues with bothering my feet at all or trying to break them in. They were so comfortable, they felt like an old favorite pair of sneakers. Love them so much, I plan on buying a second pair. Best of all, the laces didn't untie once, as I have happened on other brands of sneakers.

I’ve been looking for a good pair of shoes to walk trails and concrete. I’ve learned I like a more form fitted sneaker with a toe guard, so that my feet don’t feel like they’re in a pair of socks when going downhill. I’m disappointed that these don’t have a removable footbed, however they are reasonably priced and I don’t feel like they have to last forever. They have some cush and are low around the ankles, which is good for the summer. I do wish they were a little more breathable for Arizona heat but they will do for now. They lace up fairly easily, which is always pleasant. to go up a half size which I’ve never had to do before in ASICS.

I really like the Asics Gel-Venture 9, they are very comfortable for walking. I need a stiffer sole and these are the right kind for me. lately the Asics seem to be running smaller than in the past. I would size up.

Very comfortable. Firm fit, love the gel in this model of shoe.
