I bought these shoes overseas as we were walking/hiking between 7-10 miles a day sightseeing, and I needed a break from my other shoes. I have worn Asics for the last 25 years, and these are by far my most comfortable model so far. The toe box seems more roomy than in previous models, which is perfect for my wide feet. The cushioning feels great and worked even for days with mainly concrete walking. The shoes are very lightweight, which I first thought made them " feel" a little cheap, but - even after three weeks and 150 miles, these shoes still look brand new with no wear to the sole or surface material ... I have two minor complaints ... ventilation and tongue design ... these shoes do get warm on hot summer days but so do most other sport shoes and .... the tongue slides to the side - which interestingly doesn't seem to bother me walking - there is no rubbing but I wish they would have made the tongue wider at the base . These are by far my most comfortable trail runners so far and I own only " super cushioned" runners from several large brands . They will be my go to shoes ... During the entire vacaton and many, many miles through cities my back , legs and feet were not hurting which is a small miracle for someone with arthritis and back issues ... These run true to size for me.

The tread seems great. Too bad the shoes were sized incorrectly. I know ASICS runs a half size short since I’ve run in them for years. These shoes are a whole size too short and ridiculously wide in the toes. Note to ASICS and to Zappos: not everyone has a wide foot. It seems as if there are fewer and fewer running shoes for narrow feet. I can’t run in clown shoes.

I always put my own orthotics in to up support in a shoe. Love ASICS Gel series, but this grey looked like chunks of flat cement blocks on feet. I ordered a darker color instead. They are light and supportive and last and last. I walk/hike several miles most days trails, beach, and streets and they take the beating.

Love these sneakers. Bought a pair in a big box store in my regular size, but they run VERY small. I am normally a 9.5, but I needed a 10.5. Zappos carries my size, so I bought 2 pairs. Great arch support for my plantar fascitis. Very comfortable. But buy them at least 1/2 size larger than your normal.

I have a hard time finding walking shoes. I am a bit older and have arthritis, which includes the side effect of my feet swelling up on a regular basis. It can be hard to find shoes I can wear to go walking, especially when my puffy feet are in play. For a long time, I was gravitating toward slip on walking shoes, but they have changed the styles/design and I ordered about six pairs trying to find some that were comfortable, and could work with my puffy feet. No luck. Very discouraging. Back when I was younger and was running on a regular basis, I loved ASICS, so I thought, why not look again? Wide width options - very nice. Then my sister mentioned replacing the regular shoe laces with elastic laces to make them into slip-ons. YES!!! DING DING DING!!! These shoes are comfortable, wide enough (even with full puffiness in my feet), and work with the elastic shoe laces I found. I am ordering a second pair! Finally! My search is over.... for now, anyway.....

Shoes were true to size, but toe box was a bit narrow. Uppers did not breathe well. Support was good though very stiff

I am really disappointed with these shoes. My ankles aches after an 8 hour day in them and I have NEVER slide a crossed a floor like I did in these. I have woen ASICS for 20 years. This pair broke my heart.

I was so disappointed when I got these. I have been buying the Asics Gel-Ventures for years and have absolutely loved them. I need a wide toe box but I have a very narrow heel area and shoes that fit correctly are so hard to find. These shoes have always been a perfect fit and always so comfortable straight out of the box. Something that rarely happens for me. But when I received these, I discovered they have changed the design of these shoes and they no longer fit like they used to. And in addition to that, they have removed the secondary hole that is a little further back than the rest of the laces that tighten the heel area more. I need to have this on my shoes or my heels will slip out. So, sadly I am returning these. :(

These shoes fit true to size, width and comfy. I do "a lot" of walking for exercise. I'm talking miles a day. I actually wear insoles out. They are also light on my feet. I don't like heavy shoes. I always stick with Asics. I get the rounded toe shoes b/c I like the comfort they give.

I have been wearing ASICS for many years. The Gel Venture 9 is by far the best sneaker in terms of size, width, and comfort. They are lightweight, too. I am on my feet a great deal walking and for my work. My feet have high arch. The toe box accommodates well. Loving these shoes!

This shoe was wide enough in the ball of my foot and I like the narrow heal which held my foot well but I like A LOT of volume in the toe box and I found it a bit narrow in the toes. I would say it would be good if you dont need tons of toe volume.

I usually wear size 10 in running shoes, and these are size 10 1/2 and they fit. Size 10 was too small. The shoes are comfortable. The price is good. I recommend them.

The shoe felt tight around the sides and the top of my foot. Not comfortable. Not worth trying to fix. A little plain looking too. Just not for me. I have another pair of Asics, same size, that fit fine.

They feel sort of loose, like a lack of support. You can tell they will not last long. Super cute though

Arch support was great, but these shoes are not very wide- particularly in the toe box. If you have moderately wide or wider, look elsewhere

I just received these shoes today, so I've only worn them around the house. So far they feel really comfortable - I struggle with plantar fascitis so a great fit is a must.

I couldn’t believe how comfortable these shoes were! Bought them for hiking because my feet are so picky. They didn’t affect my plantar fasciitis and I wasn’t sore afterwards! Impressed enough to come back for more!

Fit great! It's challenging to find 11w women's running shoes that aren't ugly. I did need to add extra arch support, but that was my fault for not knowing I needed extra support (I'm new to running). But there is still plenty of space in the even with the insert.
