I have several shoes from different manufacturers that I rotate in and out. The nimbus are comfortable and fit my foot well. Unfortunately the shoe is not very durable. After one run on the pavement, the shoe started to fall apart. I owned the gel nimbus 20 and they were much more durable for me.

I've been wearing the Gel-Nimbus for over 10 years and I was wary of this new design, with good reason apparently. The materials do not breathe and I have to change my socks after just a few hours bc my feet have sweat so much. Whatever it is they're using in the soles makes the shoe feel bouncier and way less stable, I can't move around as quickly and at work I'm always aware of how awkward these feel on my feet. I wish I could find the 22's or 23's in my size but unfortunately I'm going to have to find a completely different shoe. It's very disappointing, this used to be a great shoe.

Asics ruined all of their legend shoes with the big sole and pure gel that doesnt even last for one month. They should go back to the nimbus 20,21 or 22 models. I would totally given it zero stars but I had to choose one.

The shoes itself are great. The buying experience was terrible. I paid for a new pair of shoe and received a pair of previously worn shoes. I can clearly see dirt embed in the bottom of the shoe and all the white area are shades of gray. Very disappointed at Zappos for doing this. Will probably stop buying anything from Zappos in the future

Very poor design. Not suitable for runners going under 7:00 per mile pace. However, they are good for slow recovery miles. 1. They are incredibly heavy, especially compared to other daily trainers. 2. After only a few miles of running, the strange insole will rub your feet and make them burn. 3. The upper is very thick and heats up. 4. The shoes are very bulky. Even though they were true to size, it looked like they were 2 sizes too big. 5. On step in, they are very comfortable, but this goes away after about 20 miles. 6. They are very unstable. The large stack height of the sole and the unstable upper make them unsuitable for anything except running slow on pavement.

The toe box is much narrower than previous editions. I've tried to wear these for 3 months, with increasing pain and pinching of the toes. Really disappointed with the purchase

Advertised as 4E. However, the shoe feels double wide at best. It appears that it is recently been redesigned and is more narrow than previous.

I am 60 years old, getting ready for a 4th marathon in October. I have worn the Gel-Nimbus since #9; it has been my most reliable shoe. Not so with the #25. The cushion is so thick that on runs longer than 3-4 miles my feet tired, possibly from sliding during the very long time that the shoe is in contact with the ground. The tendinitis in my left knee was not good. Both problems cleared after finding 2 pairs of #24s and switching back

These running shoes are great for walking and standing still for long times, however when I try to run in them my forefoot burns at pretty much exactly 4 miles every time. These are no longer my running shoes, but instead I wear them to work if I know I will be on my feet for long periods of time.

These are extremely comfy when walking. But not stable and supportive for running. Also., return policy is subpar.

After a lot of research, I bought these shoes at a running store in Florida. Super comfortable with extreme cushioning. I wear them for walking 3 or less miles daily. Ninety five days later both shoes have a hole in the fabric near the top of the toe box.

It feels like a fake. A very cheap fake: visible glue, poorly crafted, so many eyesores that should have made my shoe rejected at some point...but it still got shipped to me... it's so bad it almost looks like a cheap fake. Never again from the online store

Excellent shoe, would have liked to keep it. Unfortunately way too tightly cushioned below the ankle. Okay for running, but not for all day wearing, had to return it. Looks like all ASICs are like that.

Shoes run small, put a lot of pressure onto my pinky toe and causes me to walk on it. Length wise they're true to size, however width wise the extra wide is closer to a regular wide. These shoes also cause a lot of pain inside my arch when on a treadmill/running.

I have been wearing Metaruns since they were introduced. Apparently the Metarun has been discontinued, so I decided to try the Gel-Nimbus 25. What a difference, and not for the better. The support in the upper shoe is worse, the fit is not the same and my, heel is slipping, the shoe is less comfortable, and the shoe does not seem to hold well in turns. It is almost like turning on ice, and I have actually found myself stumbling when making a tight turn. I have tried to give these shoes a chance, but at this point I am trying to figure out where I can wear them so that I get some use out of them. Otherwise they are a total waste of money and I might as well toss them in the trash.

I wore the previous model of this shoe, and loved it. I purchased the exact same size I had in the previous version. Yes, I am a woman...and, I do purchase mens Extra Wide-the womens shoes are never wide enough for my feet. After wearing them around (which, now, I am unable to return), the toe box seems to narrow to more of a point, rubbing on my big toe. I can also feel my feet rolling in toward midline (which, I normally tend to run and show wear on my shoes as a mid foot striker and supinator). It's all very bulky and uncomfortable.
