It’s hard to find comfortable shoes since I’m flatfoot. New Balance is what I normally buy for my feet and have to get 4E width. I wanted something different this time. I purchased these, and it feels like walking on a cloud. Some people don’t like that, but it’s a must for me since I’m also a diabetic, and have some neuropathy. The mid-sole cushion is top notch. I don’t know how they stand up. The Hoka Ones I have don’t come close to the level of comfort. As well as, many NB. The Fresh Foam come close. I think the balance of support, and close comfort my appeal to most. I am taking these to Disney to fully test them out, and will have a follow up review to these. Right now, I feel they are great!

This shoe is a minimum of a half size too small.

I’ve been wearing Gel Nimbus for years. This revision has a much different fit from the 23 and 24. In those I always wore a 12; in these I had to go down to 11.5. The “feel” is also much different for me. The sole is wider and I feel more weight transfer to the lateral foot (and less support in the arch area). They are quite a bit lighter than the 23/24. I just don’t know yet how I feel about these. I might revise my star rating after I get more wear in them.

Once again ASICS completely redesigned the odd-numbered model of this shoe into something unrecognizable from the previous version. ASICS is following the trendy style of those huge wedge soles. Sad to see that for the venerable Nimbus. This is supposed to be a neutral running shoe but the ridiculously thick cushion sole forces the foot to pronate far too much for a neutral shoe. This shoe is nothing like the Nimbus 24 which was a good neutral shoe with a much better ride. Despite the thick cushioning I did not find this shoe to be nearly as good a ride as the 24 and it's a much slower shoe. It takes a lot of effort to get these shoes moving. Finally, the sizing is way off. I ordered the same size in this shoe as I have with the 24 and it's at least a half size too small and the wide width is too narrow. If you like the Nimbus, you'll likely be disappointed in this version of it. I suggest looking for something else. I'm returning this pair before it causes knee injuries.

I LOVE THESE SHOES. I wear these shoes 8-12hrs a day at work, and I've never met a shoe that has such good cushioning that lasts, and decent arch support! I just tried the Gel-Kayano on, since it had excellent reviews - and the insole felt as hard as a rock. Sent them back and ordered another pair of my tried and true Gel-Nimbuses!

It is a comfortable shoe. I beat them up pretty bad and they are still comfortable.

Excellent comfort for all day support, standing and walking. Highly recommend.
