Really wanted to love these and they are beautiful; however, I'm short, 5'1", and the way the boot comes up over the ankle made my legs look that much shorter. Probably would look amazing on someone with longer legs...

The SE Jane boots in Olive are gorgeous, do not have any green cast just a lovely neutral taupe/brown not too dark nor too light. Normally wear 7-7.5 med in shoes/boots, ordered 7. 5 due to pointed toe. The heel is just slightly too tall for me to be comfortable as a daily wearer and slipped a little on heel which also felt a little big even with light sock. Afraid size 7 would be too narrow in footbed. Wish they worked, sadly returned.

The boot is absolutely beautiful. However, it hits my shin in a most uncomfortable way. I'm returning them:(

I love the way they look. They are ok comfort wise but could not wear them all day long.

I’m a true 7 and the boots fit great! I love the heel height. I have short legs but that’s not the boots fault lol.

Nice boots. I have a narrow foot, and in my experience, Sam Edelman can run narrow, so I tried them, but they felt like a standard M width or wider.

Fit was too narrow across toes.

This is a short cowboy boot in a stiff leather. The problem is that the low calf height hits my calf at each step. Breaking in would be uncomforta ble at best.

Love the Sam Edleman Jane style, but, I ordered a 7M and a 7.5 M and they were both to small. I wear a 7M usually but occasionally have to have a 7.5M. The leather is extremely hard making the bootie uncomfortable for me.

Highly doubt its leather and if so its inexpensive. Very very stiff, uncomfortable boot. Sam E. needs to bring back the Walden boot. These are a fail.

The bottoms of these are plastic!
