Bought these for my grandson who had reconstructive surgery done on one foot. This is the most happy his foot has felt, they stay well on his feet, and he has no pain when walking. His exact word was "perfect!"

These have been my "go to" and I own several pairs. Then I tried a different brand....not as squishy and I like the support better.

If, like me, you’re spending too much time in shoes with insufficient arch support (talking to you, Crocs), and if the exaggerated arches in shoes like Oofos are too much, then these Hoka Recovery Slides are exactly what you’re looking for. They’re soft but not like marshmallows, they’re supportive but not too firm, they’re as comfortable as bedroom slippers right out of the box, and your feet are going to love them. If you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and know that the first steps in the morning are going to hurt, these may be your solution. I love them.

I usually wear a size 6.5. I ordered this in a size 6-7 as Zappos (and my son's friend) had recommended and it's the perfect fit. There's not much extra room in the front and back so if I wanted super thick socks with them then I would order the next size up, but I usually wear thin socks. These feel incredibly supportive and stable on my feet - I plan to wear them inside as my "house shoes". It would be nice if the top part was adjustable as it's a touch looser than I would choose to have it, but just barely so that will be fine. They aren't the most attractive sandal, it's not like I'd wear them out to a fancy dinner (I mean, unless my feet were just killing me I guess!). I do wish they came in more fun colors, or had some two-toned or something fun! I have very high arches and these do actually seem to provide a little arch support, which is extremely rare for me in any footwear - not sure what that means for those who are flatter-footed, if it would be comfortable or maybe a little much.

I have been wearing these Hoka Recovery Sandals for a few years and now got my husband hooked on them. They are so comfortable that I use them as my slippers inside my home as well as outside. I have them in many colors. This pair was for my husband and so far he loves them. If you have tired or achy feet after a long day, these are the shoes for you. Highly recommend!

These flip flops (“slides,” whatever that is) arrived two days ago and I’ve worn them a lot. I’m recovering from a broken ankle. These are comfortable and make it easier for me to get around since I can’t put on a regular shoe. I’m 54, so, to me, these are super ugly, but they seem to be popular. I’d buy them again, and I’d definitely recommend them. I’m a 7-1/2 and sized down because size 7 sandals always work best for me.

I love the fit of this sandal, and the support was better than most other shoes I've tried. After plus/minus two months of consistent daily wear, however, I noticed that my foot was sliding forward, resulting in my toes hanging over the front of the shoe while I walked. That may have been true because I do not have full sensation in my feet due to a medical condition. If no other reviewers have reported this problem, than I urge you to give these shoes a try.

My first pair of Hokas! Yay me!!!! LOL such a relief for my flat feet after a 12-13 hrs work day! They feel great.

Comfortable and supportive

Bought these for my husband who was experiencing plantar fasciitis symptoms. They're great!

I love these recovery slides especially with my synovitis as they were recommended by the orthopedic surgeon. They feel great and last quiet a bit before I have to replace them.

Challenging to figure out the correct size, but happy with them now that I have. I followed the directions for women to size down 2 sizes and initially bought the Women's 6/Men's 8, but they were way too big. The Women's 5/Men's 6 were the correct size for me. To help others with sizing, for my widish foot I wear an 8 in Brooks Adrenaline sneakers, a 6.5 AU in Blundstone boots, and an 8.5 in Sorel waterproof boots. I bought these because people said they were helpful for plantar fasciitis, and I agree.
