Ran a half right out of the gate with these. They are perfect, lightweight, and full of support!

I have two pairs of the original Tecton X's and they were my favorite trail shoe. Very responsive, good on all types of trail terrain and a great fit. I think v2 is even better! The upper keeps out dirt and rocks from sandy AZ trails and the fit is even more dialed in. I love the colorways that are available but hope even more fun colors are coming!

That said, these are good shoes. My Clifton ones were great, though which is why 4 and not 5 stars. I couldn't find another pair of Clifton's in my size, so I went with these. They're just not quite as comfortable.

I used on a trail run and it has great flexibility! Much better than the Bondi I was using before. Went a half size bigger and that worked perfectly. Like to trail run about 2x a week and they will be my new 'go-to' shoe.

I needed a versatile walk/trail run shoe that would also work well on an upcoming adventure to Peru. The Tecton x 2 is super comfy- a bit wide in the tow area but that might be just what I need when my feet swell after a long day on the trail or stomping around ruins.

Quickly becoming my "go to" shoe. Comfort meets or exceeds my Keens. If it holds up for more than a year, I'll wish I had given it five stars.

This shoe is light and responsive; would love it for speed work on the trail, but the toe box is too narrow which causes metatarsal pain. This also ran a little short, as my other Hoka's are all size 8, but in these my toes hit the end of the shoe. Will keep my eye out to see a different version with more toe room, as the rest of the shoe felt great. Loved the upper and how secure the heel and midfoot felt.

These are my first Hoka shoes. I love how comfortable and stylish they are. I work in a busy hospital and walk 2-3 miles on the treadmill everyday. The inside fabric had holes in them after a month of wear. I was so disappointed after splurging and spending almost $250 on shoes. I was happy they let me return them because I didn’t think the price point matched the show’s durability at all. I wish they would have worked out because I’ve never had a better shoe in my life.

I was really excited to try out carbon-plated trail shoes, but I'm disappointed I didn't read the many reviews cautioning to be careful on technical trails. I liked everything about the shoe- weight, cushion, fit, etc. except the stability. My foot struck a rock wrong during my second run in these shoes, and instead of absorbing the shock like other hokas, the plates caused my foot to basically fold under my ankle, resulting in a fracture. Needless to say, I am returning the shoes. These shoes are not for trails with ANY technical elements. Again, the shoes felt great initially and I wanted to like them, but I would only ever wear a shoe like this on a gravel or dirt trail with no roots/large rocks.

The shoes arrived without return label. No worries I liked it. Where it twice. The third time I noticed a tear just befor the laces. So I called Hoka the recording said no return table go to website and print it. The way I look at it for the amount of money I paid I should provided with a return label and free pickup. I do not have printer. I can't print at work. It's a hassle I will not buy Hoka again.
