I love arahi 6 softness and clifton soft springy cushion feel on foot bottoms but the challenger 7 are hard like concrete. standing in kitchen on ceramic tile my feet feel like no softness or cushion. My back started hurting, i then switched on my arahi 6 shoes and in 30 minutes my back stopped hurting. These challengers were an inch too long so i had to exchange for 6 1/2 wide but they just as hard and make back hurt. Even though these are wide they are not that wide. these shoes are long and narrow even in wide width and i normally wear a medium width. i think someone's sewing machine pattern is wrong for this model. gotta send these things back.

I was on the hunt to find some comfortable shoes to work, walk, and stand for 8 hours a day. I purchased On-Clouds first and they are the most comfortable. Hoka has more styles and colors so I decided to order. They are not as comfortable as on clouds. I even did a half size up. That did not help. Sorry!!!

I have 5 pairs of Hokas in assorted styles. I find them very comfortable and always wear the same size. These ran large and the fit was odd. The quality has declined in comparison to my other Hoka's.

I purchased for my vacation. When i arrived on vacation I attempted to put the shoes on and i could barely get them on. I have purchased no less than 15 different pairs of Hoka shoes from the website if various different models. I have always ordered the same size. This shoes is not a 9.5.

I exchanged Clifton's for these shoes hoping for more durability and support for my big toe issue. Shoes were wide enough in the toe box but they were not tall enough in the toe box. Too much pressure on the top of my big toe joint so these were sent back.

A friend recommended these, stating that their plantar fasciitis disappeared practically overnight from wearing these sneakers for one day. I've been wearing these for more than a week and I am in the same pain

For the second time in a few months it shows it's in stock so I purchase them. Then after a week of waiting Hoka cancels my order because it is suddenly on back order. Tried 2 different styles snd it just keeps happening. Love the shoes when I can actually get them.

I've had so many friends tell me that this brand is the best--that its saved their knees, hips, etc. I was so excited to give them a try coming off an achilles injury. I've been trail running regularly for a number of months pain free, but these shoes irritated my achilles badly! One short trail run was all it took! I can't risk having the injury flare up again (after 8 months off in PT), so I passed them along to a friend. I was really disappointed!

They're pretty average shoes. At the price point there are better shoes on the market. After getting them I wish i had bought Brooks.

Returned them. What I REALLY want is my Bondi 7 back! Why discontinue them? I bought 5 pair. Now can't find any black/black in size 9.

I think they may have potential. Possibly. I am trying to gradually break them in. These are not as comfortable as the last pair. I was expecting better. I can only wear them for about 2 hours or so before they become excruciatingly painful. They are too tight. I would never buy these shoes again. they do seem to provide good support, but they hurt.

First time buying direct from Hoka. I have had these shoes less than a month and the bottom layer of rubber on the shoes has separated from the shoe. I am returning them. I would have just exchange them but they offer noting for the time and hassle of having to return or exchange them. As a side note I did a previous review when I first got them. The color is more light/ bright purple than the website shows.
