For some reason, even though I went up half a size and chose wide, these caused a cyst on my right ankle from rubbing on it. They weren't tight so I don't understand how it rubbed on my foot that hard. Also, giving it a 3 because they are cute and they are cushioned but the inner heels are also ripping and foam coming out. For such an expensive shoe, they should be fine for even a year. It's going on 6 months since I bought them. I feel they shouldn't rip like that. Hoka is comfortable but I think too hyped up also. I think I'll try a different style next time and if those are the same, I'm done with Hoka. I'll go back to my Orthaheels.

Great shoes that are both comfortable and stylish. However, I really don't understand the hype with them because they're not more comfortable than my Saucony running shoes and are twice as expensive. Will not purchase these again.

This was a lovely well made shoe however my flat feet needed something different inside . I wear Merrell and did not feel the same support for my feet.

The shoe is great, however my foot falls too flat inside. I felt if I walked in them the backs of my legs would be strained. Product is good and well made. I am used to Merrell hikers and Hoka was not for me

I've been running in Hoka for years and have always loved the challenger model, as I found it held up well in any terrain and proved to be a versatile running shoe. The Challenger 7 did not even compare to the older models of this shoe, as I ran in it for maybe three months consistently and the shoe was already beginning to break down. Pieces of tread were easily torn off and the overall shoe looked as though it had seen more miles of use than it actually had. I used this shoe for more mild trail surfaces, nothing too rugged, and the tread and sole looked destroyed. I was disappointed because the Challenger 6 lasted much longer and was much more durable, but the 7 model didn't even hold up. I'd recommend this shoe as a walking shoe, but not for extensive trail running.

The tongue in this shoe was really thin. These aren’t as plush as some other Hoka shoes I tried.

it's hard to tell which Hoka shoe is best for Diabetics because HOKA does not Cater to us, Only Runners, Walkers, and hikers from what I can see. I have bought about 14 pairs of Hoka's and still cant figure out which one is better for Nerve damaged feet. I am on the fence whether or not I will be buying any more.

Suggestion from you about ordering wise because of my Merrell shoe use was not good , shoes are wide on my feet, besarse I was to use on a trip to Japan and Korea I took them but my feet and ankles are hurting after long walks, I believe this type of shoe was not my best option

I have been wearing the Cliftons in size 8.5 wide which enabled me to add my inserts for my problematic feet. The Cliftons are great. Unfortunetly I ordered the Challenger 7 in 8.5 wide but they are narrower and I absolutely cannot go without my steel inserts so I need to do a return. I've only glanced at the return policies so I don't know all the details but I recall that I need to ship them to London England! The were shipped to me from Morreno Valley California. They also came from a company called Deckers so at first I thought I mistakenly ordered fake Hokas.

I have a wide ball of my foot (thanks to bunion foot surgeries) and a narrow heel. Even with runners' knots, the heel wouldn't stay on my foot.

The sneakers are comfy. The soles are big and cushy, but the top of the shoe is thin and cheapish.

The shoes are lovely but without being able to try them on at a local store, getting a proper fit is difficult.

There was not enough room for my right big toe. The arch support also made my right foot discomforted when walking (On treadmill, flat). I checked the shoe tags, they were both same size 8B. Just a little off on workmanship I think. I had to return. I'll try some other shoes later.

Even though the shoe fits great it looks nothing like the picture. I thought the shoe would be orange and red from the picture and instead it was orange and purple. I HATE purple!!! I'm kinda disappointed

I am not as happy with these shoes as I was with the last pair that were the Challenger ATR6. Something changed in the new shoe that does not feel quite as comfortable and I am a bit disappointed. Wish there was an explanation of what the changes are and why they are being made. These fit well in the heel which is always a challenge for me. They are very comfortable, but I do wish they had more arch support.

The overall width of these because of the aggressive out soul was just too wide for me. I kept catching one for on the other and tripping. Wonderful color though, so much fun!
