These shoes were a bit harder to break in than other Hokas I've purchased.

I've worn Hoka Cliftons (the earlier ones) and then had to switch to the Bondi when the Clifton was remade. Unfortunately Hoka changed the Bondi, too, and I wanted to try a different Hoka shoe. This one is really hard compared to the plush feel of the Clifton and Bondi. It also felt like it was tilting my feet inward, although that could have just been because there seems to be little to no arch support. A real disappointment...thank you, Zappos, for letting me try them and immediately finding they don't work for me.

Although I am a huge HOKA fan and user, I realize I do not like the color combinations. Bright orange...purple on the sole etc. I ordered a different one which is arriving and hope I like that better.

I have used the same Hoka ATR Challenger shoes for the past several years. The new ATR 7 shoes looked like had more room in the toes area and as a result don't hold the foot stable.

I love these shoes, but they did not hold up to use very well. They developed a hole in the lining at the outside of the heel that gave me a blister.

I am a diehard Hoka fan. Previously I purchased the earlier version of the Stinson for trail running. These were the most comfortable trail shoe I've ever worn. However, the newest iteration of the Stinson is now designated as a stability shoe. I don't need a stability shoe. The Challenger was recommended as being almost as cushioned as the Stinson, but neutral. I am returning these shoes. The toe box is weirdly narrow for a Hoka shoe. I have normal width feet. Additionally, these shoes feel so hard, especially in the forefoot. The run feel is hard, as well. I'm sad I have to return these shoes. My search for a cushioned, neutral, comfortable trail shoe continues.

They are not as comfortable as everybody states I have plantar fasciitis and my heels hurt when I wear them. I was told the band 8 are the better ones to choose and I thought that's what I bought.

This is my second pair and I do love the shoe with one exception and there's the soul wears out way too fast wish they would improve it for the price you think they would

I've been buying a new pair of Challengers every year for years, and I still love how comfortable they are. But my old Hokas still have tread after hundreds of miles backpacking and city walking. This year's pair was completely blank after 250 miles backpacking. Seems that under the disguise of improvement they are making them less durable. For the price I need to get more use out of them

After 8 hours on my feet, my feet still hurt but with less intensity. I don't think there is any shoe that will be completely painless after 8 hours but these come in the closet yet from everything else I have tried. They look nice and are very light.

I am so disappointed of my new Hoka Challenger 7 walking shoes; within 9 days one of the shoe was already looking like my old 2 years hiking shoes, with hole in the fabric on top near ankle and where the back is starting to look the same. This is my first time trying the brand after considering it for a while. Being a Salomon customer for years I was disappointed of the quality and looking for a better brand :(. Planning exchanging them when returning from my business trip but concerned that the new pair will do the same.

I have been hiking in only Hokas for more than 10 years, they are hands down the best fit for my foot and have always had exceptional quality. I have less than 100 miles on these shoes, and the heel has completely shredded on both feet. I won't buy this model again, I wish they had held up because they were by far the most comfortable and good looking pair I think I've ever owned.

Has Hoka changed their sizing? I had the same shoes about a year ago and they fit just right. They were great. I knew as soon as I took these out of the box that they were going to be too big. I feel like they are a half size too big. They looked like tanks on my feet. The green color only accentuated that effect. Maybe I would like them if they fit? Hard to say. But I'm super disappointed in the sizing discrepancy.
