Unlike most Hoka wearers I bought mine solely because they offered the comfort I needed while walking. I do trail and roadwalking so wanted stability too. The Clifton's are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and I can attack trails with mixed, uneven terrain without concern for turned ankles or slips on wet rocks.

I have purchased two pair of Hoka's in the last few months, feel great the first two weeks, then not as comfly. I went to a high end shoe shoe & they stated the shoe is too small ;( I know my 30 days are up but I was hoping for something but not going to happen

This is my third pair of Hokas. I love these shoes. I have severe arthritis in my feet and they give me the cushioning that I need. I am spoiled now and can't were any other brand.

I often have some issues with numbness in my right foot. All shoes feel uncomfortable after a short time of wearing them. Not my Hoka Clifton 9! I can wear them all day and feel comfortable all day! Thank you foer the relief!

I was expecting them to feel a lot more comfortable. They are okay. Feels tight around my ankles. I wore On Cloud previously but heard so much good about Hokas, so I decided to try them. Still wearing them, but just not blown away. Very cute colors though!

My brother was visiting from out of state and had a pair on and said how comfortable they were. Especially to wear all day. So I got a pair (we have the same ones!) and he is correct. I usually take a 7 1/2 but one of the reviews said a little too tight so I went up a half size and they were perfect.

Do you make anything without HOKA advertised all over it? I've heard the shoes are very comfortable but I don't care for the brand name on it.

The Clifton 9 does not seem to be related to the Clifton 8. This shoe is stiff and sluggish and does not have comparable cushioning to the 8. The tongue on this version is also longer and rubs at the front ankle area causing constant friction. The 8 was such an incredible shoe, I'm not sure why the need make sure drastic changes. Returned to the store the day after purchasing. Please consider going back to the 8 version.

When purchased these shoes I thought that the shoes would be a little more squishy than they were. When I put them on, I instead was gifted the support I craved all along. The only thing that could be a little better is the "give" when standing. Walking around all day is no problem.

Love the shoes, however color is not exactly what I thought it would be. More grey than olive green.

I started off by ordering a 9.5 D because that's what the true fit recommended. They were way too big but I wore them for a while and ended up ordering a second pair in an 8 and a half wide, my original size in most shoes but it does vary, and by reviews I thought sizing up would be a good idea. Sizing up was not a good idea. In fact, even the 8 and a half are too big. Maybe it's the wide size but I have a lot of space between my toe and the tip of the shoe, I could have gotten an 8D, which honestly is what my foot was measuring to, so the measurement chart is accurate at least, I just didn't want to have my toe touching the top like they did in my 8.5 R adidas so I was skeptical of 8.5 D to begin with. I have fairly wide feet but a narrow heel, and there is some slippage in the heel but nothing a different tie can't fix. Overall besides struggling with finding the right size, these are super comfortable and I can't wear another pair of shoes because my feet hurt immediately. I'll probably end up buying another pair once I've worn these to the ground, I work in food service and stand on concrete so these get a good use.

I use for everyday comfort. They are quite comfortable for all day wear.

Very comfortable for all day wear. Bothered by the yellow wrap over the toe isn't a match. Would probably look at a light blue pair next time.

They are comfortable and I think it's just so expensive

I walk anywhere from 5 to 11 miles every day. They are awesome and I couldn't walk that much without pain if I didn't have them

I walk daily for 1-1.5 hrs. These shoes don't need breaking in. They fit well and are super comfortable. I began buying HOKA Clifton while on vacation in 2018. I have probably purchased 4 pairs/year since that fall day. Love them.

I wasn't sure about the way they felt when i first walked in them, but they are the best I've had so far. I am very pleased.

I walk 15,000 to 20,000 steps a day, usually 7 days a week. I developed nodules on the soles of my feet, and was diagnosed with Plantar Fibroma by my podiatrist. When recommending shoes for my walking routine, Hoka was one of the brands my podiatrist mentioned. I purchased my first pair about 6 months ago and they made an incredible difference in both the enjoyment level of my walks, and also the comfort given to my feet. I just purchased my second pair and they too are amazing. Also, the nodules on the bottom of both my feet have receded - which I wasn't expecting (I was only hoping the change in shoes would ensure the condition wouldn't get worse). I have a follow up appointment with my podiatrist in a couple of weeks - can't wait to share with her the difference the Hoko brand has made for/to me.

I walk about three miles or four miles a day. I am 72 years old and have terrible feet. I am thrilled with these. I usually buy the Bondi but the last ones, Bondi 8 are a bit like wearing spatulas they are so wide in the sole but incredibly comfortable. I was thrilled to find these Clifton's equally comfortable and a bit less bulky. Love Hokas
