I've been dealing with heel pain for several months and found a lot of relief from the Clifton 8 that I purchased. I wore them out in 6 months and replaced them with the 9s. So far they are equally comfortable and help with the heel pain. My one gripe is that the tread pieces on the bottom are peeling up pretty easily. I've been able to glue them down but that's kind of disappointing considering their cost.

I ordered a pair for my wife and she was really happy with the quality and comfort level of the shoes. The only problem was with the shipping. We were having issues about package theft in our mailroom so I made it a point to just have it delivered to a nearby UPS pick up point. However, when the notice of shipment was emailed,the delivery address still showed our mailing address. It took a while and a lot of phone calls just to be able to fix the problem. I just hope it won't happen again should I decide to order for myself.

Stable shoe that really aids older ankle issues. Wish they lasted longer, active walker averaging 4+ miles every day.

This new, softer style hurts my legs and makes my feet swell after just a short 1.5 mile gentle walk. NOT what I expected as a long term customer that HAD been giving rave reviews to perfect strangers. The cushion is so soft on the Clifton, it feels like one stepped thru a cloud merely to pound the pavement in bare feet! Why bother with shoes?? Before buying this pair, I had heard bad feedback at my local store and from fellow Hoka fans, but I decided to see for myself Honestly, if I could get a refund, I would buy BROOKS INSTEAD. I strongly suggest Hoka switch it up FAST to retain customers not already won over by competitors!

Went to DC last weekend and did the museum crawl. Walked on air the entire time! Only regret is that I wish I would have ordered them before for my walk in the NYC P.R. Parade! Next year I'll be sporting a new pair for it.

I wear mine for work and the gym. My feet don't hurt anymore. It's like walking on springs. The cushion doesn't disappear as the day goes on.

This is exactly what I need.a comfortable and supportive shoe. I have numerous HOKA shoes and refuse to wear any other brand. My orthopedic surgeon recommended HOKA a fee years ago. I have trouble throwing the old ones away so they become my "yard work" shoes. Um, I have no problem buying new HOKA shoes I have noticed so many more people wearing HOKA shoes locally.

I have planter fasciitis and these shoes are bringing relief! I'm able to walk a few miles in them with almost no pain.

I didn't have to have a break- in period/ they were right the moment I put them on.

While the shoes are good quality, they didn't work for me. They fit quite differently than Clifton 8

Love Hoka's!! I have had 6 or 7 pairs and I can't imagine ever wearing another shoe. I wear my Clifton's for working out, walking, every day wear and they are comfortable from the first time out of the box!

Use my Clifton9 mostly for everyday walking. I really love the cushiony support. However, I think I should have bought a different model with a smaller size sole. Due to my severe arthritis in my ankles and feet I don't have too much strength and therefore these shoes feel heavy because of the 2" sole. I keep wearing them and trying to make them work.

I am usually size 10 but had to size down to 9.5. It did take a couple of runs walks to break in but glad I stuck to 9.5. 10 was snug enough and didn't provide enough stability. Also for those with large feet, they do make feet look even bigger due to the design. It didn't bother me but may some. If that bothers you,I recommend dark colors

I am an avid waler. Hokas are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever had. Great support, too!

I will use this product for walking and traveling(I work in education where lots of walking is required).

I walk at least 2 miles a day at 74 years of age . I could not do that without Hoka. All other brands hurt my left foot big toe.

Hands down these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have some painful foot problems that makes buying shoes difficult because some shoes exacerbate my foot pain. I can wear these to walk a couple of miles, run errands & stand most of the day & my feet still feel great. My podiatrist also said they are the best for my foot issues. I've bought three different colors already & am about to buy my 4th pair. I absolutely love them!

I have been running for 25 years in various brands (mostly Brooks) until I decided to try on Clifton 7 - it was instant love. Clifton 7 and 8 had plush cushioning. I could feel a definite difference in Clifton 9 which seem more responsive and well cushioned, though not as plush. I had to break these in to adjust to running in them, but after 3 runs, I do love them and prefer them for the responsiveness. The fit is perfect with no issues and the pink color is such fun to run in. I also wear Bondi for long walks and my retired Cliftons for anytime. Thank you, Hoka, for such extraordinary shoes and finally adding those gorgeous pink/purple family colors!!

I love my Hokas. They are so incredibly comfortable. They are like walking on a cloud because they provide so much support. The only problem I have is that my right shoe started squeaking after the 3rd wear. I can't seem to figure out how to stop the squeaking. I haven't gotten them wet, so i know it's not from moisture. Other than the annoying squeaking I love them.

We have over 20 pairs of Hoka's, and have bought them for family members as well. Rincon have been my favorite. I wanted to try the Clifton for the extra cushion. I just was not a fan of the show when it arrived, returned it, and opted for the RIncon again. My husband has Rincon and Bondi and said comfort wise the Rincon are his favorite. The Transport is really comfortable however when walking for several hours for events my back was not great.

I am 54 years old and have been running for 20 plus years. Recently been feeling stress on the ligament in my ankle. Well as soon as I tried the Clifton 9, that issue disappeared, right from the first run. The cushion is great to protect your joints and ligaments. I absolutely love this sneaker. I have been wearing Asics for 20 years. Now, not going back! Hoka all the way!!!!

Shoes fit perfect they feel super smooth when running and the cushion makes my feet comfortable

I run on an asphalt track. I was seeking additional cushion to protect my joints. I definitely feel more protection under my forefoot. I am struggling to get used to the lack of flexion. So, not entirely satisfied.
