I am a big walker. I love HOKA. My first pair was Clifton's many years ago. I have also tried Bondi. I like both but do like the sleekness of the Clifton models better. These shoes are so helpful for my knees and hips. I am "nock kneed" and these are great for me. I also walk for exercise but also do dog walking in my community. Comfort and stability are key for me and these provide that!!

I walk between 4-7miles everyday. My last pair of Hokas were super-comfy but the tread/sole literally wore OFF inside of 6 months. I have only had Clifton 9 for 2 weeks and I love them - so comfortable! Crossing my fingers that the bottom outlasts my last pair!

I walk daily for exercise. These shoes are comfortable but I feel like they are encouraging my ankles to turn in more than they already do. I really wish I had sent them back before I wore them outside.

This is my 3rd pair of hoka clifton 9's and I'm disappointed because these make my feet ache which is why I bought the hoka's because my other shoes before hoka were making my feet ache. I guess it's time to find something new.

Great walking shoe. Much supposed easy on and off. Quality and much style

I use Clifton Hoka's regularly to walk the dogs, run errands and for hiking. This is my 4th pair. All others have been consistent, but this particular one seems wider and longer than normal. I'm not returning them, just noting a difference. Hopeful that doesn't mean the quality control is shifting.

This are not the best shoes for walking, running or hiking. I read all the reviews and I made my choice buying this shoes base on the comments but now I know that was a mistake please before you buy a product make sure you tried before buying and that there is a physical store to go and return or exchange it. Now am stock with this shoes.

I can't say enough good things about these sneakers. I tried so many before HOKA and so disappointed. I have spurs on the back of my feet and feet would hurt horribly. My friend told me about these sneakers and I said let me try them. I'm so happy I did. Have not taken them off. If your feet hurt buy these, my feet love me.

Hi, me again, back for my 4th review. I do this because, these shoes are everything to me. I'm obese over 300 lbs. [I'm working in it], diabetic [5.8 A1-C . . . darn proud of that], I had planters fasciitis in my right foot for over 18 months, and I have arthritis in both knees. Before February 2024 I had a difficult time walking or even getting motivated to walk. I researched Hoka, asked people about their Hoka's, and finally tried on several styles and found the Clifton 9 were MY shoe. Within 6 weeks of ONLY wearing my Hoka's, the planters fasciitis pain was completely gone. With that pain eliminated, I started to walk more, further, got a pedometer to track my steps. I'm up to 3,500 a day. I know this isn't a ton of steps. My point, Clifton 9, may not be your shoe, try other styles/models. I've never been more impressed with a pair of shoes. The balance and alignment, I know, I didn't believe a shoe could make you balanced or aligned. These do, you wear them you feel it from your feet all the way up your back. I found this out how balanced I was when I was tying my shoe. I was lifting my foot up to a chair, holding on to the back because usually I wobble and feel like I'm going to fall. I didn't feel that way, I released the chair and slowly stood up straight, NO wobble, no feeling like I'm going to tip over. BALANCE. That feeling is in every step I take. Comfort with every step, no jarring, just cushion. I'm lucky that I work at an office that is casual, and that I can wear jeans and tennis shoes daily.

I used to wear New Balance, but a friend recommended I try out Hoka and now I don't think I'll ever go back! It feels like I'm running on clouds.

The shoes were comfortable but they did rip from the sole not even 3 months into me having them, I use them for work (I'm a CNA) and I wanted to get something comfortable and I heard good reviews about these shoes but honestly for the price I wish that they would've lasted me longer

I always buy Clifton's on repeat but these are my all time favs. The color (obviously) but the fit is so light and supportive. I may need to STOCK UP!

Love the color combination I chose, fit is perfect and my foot doctor recommended HOKA for me because of my arthritic foot with pain in the top of my foot..

These are my second pair of Hokas. They're great for running and offer optimal support. My last pair lasted me almost two years and through two half marathons. My one criticism is that I ordered the yellow color thinking they'd be a pale yellow, but they're actually very bright neon. But this is good for night viability.

I have been purchasing Bondi's for several years. I needed a totally black show and I found that the Clifton came in that color so I took a chance. I might get a few others. Love the Bondi but these shoes are exceptional.

I walk 6 days a week, 1 1/2 hours each day, on the sand and on the sidewalk my hoka's help me walk smiling, because my feet are comfortable and that makes all of me very happy!

Great shoe for walking. These shoes along with some plantar fasciitis specific insoles have been a game changer for me.

I really hate these shoes. (The Clifton 8 were my stand by shoes as well as the 7swore them all the time. These are stiff, heavy and literally hurt my feet as soon as I slide them in. I'll be shopping from local stores from now on, and I won't be buying Hokas. Very disappointed: why change/ get rid of a wonderful shoe! Extremely disappointed: why replace a wonderful shoe with a horrible onenot mediocre, but absolutely horrible.

Very comfortable for long days at the hospital.

I love the Clifton 9 shoe!!!! I can wear them right out of the box !! There is no breaking in period at alll . I walk about 5-8 miles a day at work.

I bought this shoe for my 93 year old mother-in-law -she admired my Ironman Mach 10's, and wanted a "pretty" shoe like mine. I picked these out and she is delighted with them. They encourage her to pick her feet up when she's walking, rather than shuffle, and they're so comfortable that she wears them from the time she gets up until she goes to bed.
