Love to run in these! Thank you HOKA!

I have a bad back 2 surgeries and arthritis in back and the tops of my feet. I had 2 foot surgeon's in 2 different cities tell me I should wear this brand of tennis shoes. They are a bit pricey but they help my back and feet and that is priceless. One of the surgeons and his assistant were both wearing them on the job.

Had a pair of Clifton 9 for almost 2 years. Loved them. Ordered a new pair last week. They arrived and although they felt a little snug I thought they just needed to be broken in. Not the case. This is a completely different shoe. The outside soles are much more firm than my previous pair so not soft enough for my problem feet. Not as much toe box room as my last pair. Unfortunately I am returning them.

So disappointed that I have to return these. I have lots of foot pain with new shoes and need very cushy shoes for the 10k plus steps I take daily, and these are soo comfortable on my feet! Sadly, after about half an hour into my walks I get lower back pain. I've not experienced this (switched from NB to these) with my old shoes or any other honestly. I don't know why or how to fix it but the shoes were so great I'm really sad to have to return them. The fit was great, the cushion great, the shoes are wide in the toe box which was a pleasant change. I tried them on the treadmill and outdoors on pavement. They are fine for around half an hour to 40 minutes but after that I get the lower back pain no matter where I walk. I wish there was a fix for this and I'm afraid to try to wait it out as if it's a break them in issue. I can't take chances with my back. So back to the drawing board I go. I'm going to try to stick with Hoka but maybe a different type will be better. To be fair they are billed as runners and I'm using them to walk, but I ordered based on suggestions and reviews and lots of research. Nice shoe otherwise, just didn't work out for me.

This is the 2nd time I've worn Hoka's. Several reasons why, I feel like I'm walking on clouds, they provided a lot of support. I did feel like the 1st pair I received was a little too small. I went up 1/2 side larger on the 2 and pair and it was perfect.

I forgot to order a wide size so the ones I have will go to my daughter. And I will get a wide size next time.

I had high hopes for these shoes. They are very comfortable and supportive. Unfortunately did not hold up past 8 months of daily walking. I typically walk my dog 1-2 miles per day on the sidewalk and have never had a sole of the shoe basically disintegrate, like my Hoka Cliftons have. For the price tag; I would have expected them to last much longer. I have worn Brooks for the past 15 years, and my friends kept raving about the Hoka's so decided I would finally try them. Very disappointed and would not recommend if you need a shoe to last more then a few months. I will be going back to Brooks.

I bought her one pair and she loves them. I bought her a second pair for Christmas.

My every day walking shoe,and my feet loves them they are so comfortable,less pain on my feet,I would recommend these to you for comfortable and style.

First time trying them. Hoping they would be better for being on my feet 12+ hours in LTC but less then three months the bottoms were pealing off and didn't give my feet much relief. They would I guess be ok for general wear but didn't last long as a work shoe for the price paid

I love Hokas. It feels like I'm walking on clouds. This is my fourth pair. This new color is so beautiful! For some reason this pair of Clifton 9 doesn't feel as cushy.

These shoes have been working to relieve my back strain from my job. I would absolutely recommend.

I've been wearing Hoka shoes as my main shoe for over 2 years. I love the feel and arch support of the Clifton model. I had ankle replacement a couple years ago and they were the only shoes I could walk properly in for almost a year. I wear them for everyday, hiking, golfing (better than my golf shoes), bicycling, and pickleball.

I have a high arch. These shoes had no support for a high arch. In fact the "high side" of the shoe hit on the opposite side of my arch. I felt like I was walking crooked when I walked around the house in them...only a short time before I realized that these shoes would not work for me.

Going from my Clifton 8's to the Clifton 9's was a smooth transition for my power walking. These light weight and comfortable shoes are perfect for my one hour power walks.

Purchased this shoe to help with perineal tendonitis. It has been great for this condition. Is very lightweight and the Support is awesome.

Hoka fan girl for quite a few years! But you have some problems - toe box too wide and bulky. Sole more rubbery and not as soft as in prior years. Very few colors available on line in women's size 11. Disappointed. Changing brand until you go back to your roots!!!!

These shoes are not of the quality that I expected. Also, instead of helping to prevent overpronation, they actually promote collapsing of the arch and allowing my heel to tilt inward. Not at all worth the money or the wait.

This is my second pair of Hoka Clifton 9s and I intend on getting more. I may also try out the hiking shoes. My feet, legs and back are happiest in my Hokas.
