I'm a General Manager for Planet Fitness and I'm on my feet up to 12 hours a day. I come in before my shift for my workout and then I'm here for a 8-10 hour shift. I wear these all day and my feet don't hurt. I cannot say enough good things about these. I recommend them to my coworkers and anyone I speak to. My husband and daughter want a pair now. I will say the Clifton 9 run large. I always wear an 11 and I had to downsize to a 10 for these. Fine by me, but I just wanted to make others aware of this.

I've been getting back into running and have always struggled with shin splits. These are the first running shoes that I've owned that I haven't had shin splints with. They are also incredibly comfortable to wear when you're on your feet all day working, sight seeing, or just running errands. I'm on my second pair of Clifton's as my the soles of my first pair began to fall off, Hoka has the best warranty and they sent me a credit for a new pair after I sent my damaged ones in about 8 months after purchase! I'm just as in love with my second pair and recommend them to anyone I know who wants cute comfy shoes to run or walk in!

I use it for everyday walking and when I go the gym. The sole provides great cushion and the arch support is very good. 10/10 there. The issue is the top half is designed for very wide feet. Would probably be great if you had bunions but it's so wide on the top half, that it's uncomfortable and slides around. I would have returned if I hadn't already wore them. I'll stick with my Brooks Ghost for future purchases.

I was TORN between the Bondi 8 and Clifton 9. I've owned two pairs of Bondi 8s (and a pair of Bondi 7s) before that and had no shin splints or joint pain until I had out about 300 miles on the shoes (at which point I knew it was time for another pair). I've recently started longer distances, upgrading from a half to full marathon. I bought the Clifton 9 instead of Bondi 8 because they were out of my size. Ran 18 miles in the Clifton 9s right off the bat and was noticeably faster and got no blisters. They feel much lighter on my feet and are super supportive. The soles of the shoe also don't rub one another when I'm running like the Bondi 8 (since they're so wide at the base). I have a pretty narrow foot and average arches and thought these were awesome. I'll be a Clifton 9 person forever now!

I was a lifelong runner, and for the past several years have struggled with hip pain (bursitis). After borrowing my daughter's Hoka's for a hike, I decided they might help, so I ordered a pair of Clifton 9's. My hip pain got worse when I started the semester of teaching (on my feet all day) - but after just a few days of wearing my Hoka's every day, THE PAIN IS GONE! I can sleep through the night and feel better than I've felt in years!

I purchased a pair of Clifton 9 shoes a month ago at a retail store. They were more comfortable than any other brand I've used yet! So I bought a second pair on the Hoka website. Again, perfect! I won't buy anything else from now on!!!

This shoe is very comfortable. I wear it for my everyday wanderings so I am on my feet for several hours and my feet are not tired at the end of a busy day.

I have a lot of foot issues ( heal spur surgery, plantar fasciitis) and these are the best shoes that have not cause ANY pain! This is my second pair after a knee replacement and they fit on day one like I have been wearing them forever!

These are my 5th pair of the Clifton's. My hairdresser introduced me to them. She told me they are like walking on marshmallows and she was right! I order a half size larger than my normal size. I have no problems walking 6 miles a day in them, sometimes more. Please don't make any changes to them, love them the way they are.

Love the fit, very comfortable! Wear for running and walking 2-3/week. However the sole came apart less than a month of having them. Customer service seemed to care less!

This is my third pair of Hokas but first of this style. They are, by far, the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever worn. Nothing but Hokas for me from now on!

My podiatrist recommended Clifton 9 and I'm glad she did! This shoe has great support, plenty of room in the toe box, and lots of cushion.

I used to hate running because it was painful to do. Of course I was doing a lot of things wrong: no warm up, no cool down, and the wrong running shoes. After trying the Bondi, I was obsessed with Hoka. While I do love the Bondi for running and walking, it's a bit too plush. The Clifton is the right amount of plush. The width I think is normal, no need to size up if you use medium width. I have super high arches and I typically have issues with shoes that don't have stretchy uppers, the Clifton's construction provides the right amount of stretch.

I was expecting 'the most comfortable shoe ever' for work, and it really wasn't. Also, the stitching on top appeared unfinished, making the shoes look a bit shabby. I returned them.

I walk 3 - 5 miles daily, I'm a college student, and also do some workouts on the side. The Hoka Clifton 9's are sooo comfy & overall feel amazing, but the soles started to fall apart within only 3 months. If they were more durable, I would probably buy them again, but for this reason, I'm going to find a replacement.

Bottom of shoe started falling off within weeks

I have worn a size 9 in two past pairs of Hokas but these are too small. Need to return,.

I have planters fasciitis and these shoes has help me so much, I teach pre-K of course that means I'm on my feet all day, with these I'm not hunting when I get home from work I also walk around the block when I came home from work. Very happy 61year old. Maybe one day I'll try them in white. Thanks, I also rub my feet with Castor oil everyday It works

I absolutely love this shoe! Have 4 pairs, and would have more if you gave us more primary colors. BUT why do the mens get all the cool colors? All the womens are so pastel colored. Not all women want pastels. My foot is too small to wear a mens 7 so I just have to patiently wait till Hoka ,to catch up to speed, women want so more rich colors also! Still BEST SHOE EVER FOR NURSING!

This is my third pair of Hokas and second pair of the Clifton 9. They are great for my gym workouts and are even comfortable for all day wear. I love them. I wore Brooks before and swore by them but this is my shoe! Comfortable and supportive.

These shoes are very comfortable, size is accurate . Very balanced while walking and working out. They have helped with my back pain! I highly recommend these shoes.

Very comfortable, I have several pairs and have tried many brands of shoes. These are so supportive and my feet feel good.
